I looked at their schedule for June. This will be a Make or Break Month. I just have no faith what so ever in this Pitching.
You guys scored 17 runs and lost the last 2 games ask them to fire Hefner already
No, the Mets are a mediocre team, which is exactly what their record says they are. These guys have no real fire.
WRONG. as a huge fan with a fair- weather side I’m not watching. Notice the fair in fair-weather. The weather isn’t fair when it’s freezing in Florida during Christmas break.
Nimmo is the leadoff hitter improving evey year, great guy, great character, great work ethic. That being said, someone needs to give Showalter and the mets pitching coaches a shot of viagra…They are putting out the limpest worse investment in pitching arms in the National league.
You are awesome Nimmo! Marte playing CF when you need a rest is probably not the answer for us. I certainly hope the pitching comes around! We keep losing to teams that we should be beating with ease.
SELL THE TEAM TO THE PHILLIES OR ORIOLES PERIOD
You are what your record says you are
What is he going to say? I’ll say it for him, Mets are a mediocre ball club. Just take a look at the relievers coming out of their bullpen each day.
This guy sounds like a fool
APATHY.
WE DON'T CARE. THESE LOSERS CAN SAY THEY'RE OPTIMISTIC UNTIL THEY'RE BLUE IN THE FACE.
I am now following along for the comedy of errors. Imagine what Shakespeare could have written if he were alive now. Gold.
What is he supposed to say?
“Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.”
This team is struggling with consistency which is clearly a cultural issue. Enough talking about the “talent on this team” and the “aside from a couple bad pitches…” while giving up 5+ friggin runs… This team is a .500 team.
I hope Uncle Stevie sees the red flags and that heads start rolling soon. This ball club is getting far too comfortable in embarrassing defeat and then has the audacity to point out how “talented” they are. Delusions of grandeur!
Earn your monney play everyday
Mets lose a series to the Cubs then the Cubs get swept by the Reds. Just goes to show how bad the Mets really are.
