Any golfer who says they don't think about the money is straight up lying, Scottie makes side bets with his caddie all the time during practise rounds and even range sessions, and those are small amounts, so an $18 million 1st prize win will most certainly be on every player's mind whether they want to admit it or not.
The format is not weird It rewards good play over a period of time, pretty fair I say….
Great interview by Sheffler. I'd get more frustrated by the repetitive lines of questions than by my golf game.
