  1. Kirt cousins is a all star regular season MVP. He will get you to the playoffs just have a back up quarterback that’s capable winning playoff games.

  2. A couple of moves in the secondary? Are you kidding? The whole secondary has been remade. The defensive line got better last year because they got healthier. That's when the Lions started to win games.Graded for the whole year the defense was rated like 28th in the league, but after week 7 they had one of the best defenses in the NFC. If you don't believe me look it up. I have to admit I'm from Detroit, so you might say that I am biased and I have seen this team play bad football for years. I'm telling you this is not the same ol Lions

  3. Love you J Mac, but please explain how the Lions win the division? They had Matt Stafford and Megatrom and never won. The last time Detroit won a division title, the NFC North hadn’t even been created, it was the NFC Central.. Now, please tell me what Minnesota lost in order to not win it again? Year 2 of a new offensive system, upgraded our defense which ranked last and added Brian Flores and Jordan Addison. Cmon man! I don’t think MN wins 13 games, but I think they’re a BETTER team than last season, go 10-7 and win the North

  4. Btw, you said Bears will push the Vikings because of continuity. Bruh, it’s all new pieces😂😂😂. The North will be Vikings, Packers, Bears, Lions in that order.

  5. Fields is a BUST. The guy is one of the best runners at the QB position. Its him, Vick, and Lamar in tier 1 and its not close to tier2. Fields problem is that he has accuracy issues, has trouble reading defense and like to lock onto #1 target, He holds onto the ball too long and has trouble pulling the trigger. He also takes a lot of hits and sometimes looks to run first. His Oline is actually better than people say and they were i think about #15 last year so this excuse has run its course.

  6. Nah i watched Detroit games and yeah they played from behind alot but that's because the defense would give up a 20 point lead lol

  7. It's certainly possible — but this is still the Lions we're talking about. For my two cents, they get ZERO benefit of any doubts. I totally get the argument that they're just as good — or better — than Minnesota on paper. But until they actually prove it on the field, I'll take the Vikings to win the North again. Kirk vs Goff is a wash. The Vikings have Justin Jefferson, the best WR in football — not to mention TJ Hockenson (former Lion) and potential stud rookie Calen Addison. And while both teams also have huge question marks on D, I like that MN ditched Ed Donatell and hired Brian Flores, who's very legit (esp with working with young athletes like the Vikings have after saying goodbye to several aging vets).

  8. Vikings only beat lions last year cause Lions coach decides to go on 4th down at the wrong time when your 2 score up.

  9. You left off that Detroits defense was rated 11th in the last 10 games or that they have 4 new projected starters on Defense.

  10. Most talking Media heads have Detroit as the Sexy Pick. Minnesota still has Kevin O'Connell, Cpt. Kirk, Hock, and JJ.

A Waaaaaay better Defense with Flores. We will have more than 1 score victories.

  11. Is there no commentator who will use a little realism when projecting the lions? Could they be good, sure. But they still have a coach capable of losing games. They let 2 running backs go, a receiver, another receiver is suspended. Yes, they brought in defensive free agents, that doesn't always work. Yes, they had high draft picks, but the players they picked could have been taken later. It might all work out for the lions, but more likely is they can't handle the expectations, or they have key injuries, or other teams in the division and conference surprise people and are better than the lions.

  12. Can’t wait for the media to be soooo wrong about lions. Even the lions coach Dan said in a press conference that the hype train for them is out of control lol… he is even trying to let people down softly… they have done nothing to get this hype….? They won’t some games late in the season who cares.. they Havnt made the playoffs in like 10 years bro.. and Havnt actually won a playoff game since 1991 😂🤣😂🥺… people need to chill 1000% on the lions. They will be lucky if they finish 2nd in nfc north which has the bears and packers who have a qb who has never played as a starter. Vikings will be above average for sure and if their defense is better they will be a great team.

  13. Too many talking heads aren’t analyzing the Lions. First they have a new owner who is done with the toxic incompetence in the front office. Holmes is for real. Second, they upgraded the hell out of their D not just a little like this clown is saying.
