  1. A big art of “the magic sponge” was how cold it would be. The term really started with rugby which is played in fall/winter. The spionage guy would come out with a cold sponge on an already cold and wet day and players would be very motivated to get up and play rather than let the sponge of death touch their skin!

  2. American, 9 out of 10, but for the life of me I have never heard of the magic sponge. Magic spray, sure, but I suppose that was just before my time. Equally ridiculous it seems like though hahaha

  3. Who the hell shakes hands with their left? Unless the camera is flipped, that's some weird behaviour 😂

  4. Everyone has got “squeaky bum time” wrong. It isn’t the bumhole twitching, it’s squirming around on the old plastic seats during pressure moments.

  5. Gary Neville : Lost the dressing room
Ted Lasso : Your last week at Valencia

  6. To be fair to ted, I’m a Londoner and I didn’t know what the magic sponge sponge was. But I’m a late 90s baby…
