At UFC 143, Nick Diaz and Carlos Condit fought for the interim Welterweight title while Georges St-Pierre was in attendance still recovering from a torn ACL. The fight went all five rounds, but each round was considered close by many and could be scored for either fighter. Condit was announced the winner and would now get the chance to face GSP at a later date. But the judges’ decision left some fans and Diaz upset, believing that Condit’s style during the fight was too evasive and not aggressive enough to win definitively. If anybody knows anything about scoring, they would know that Nick easily won the first two rows come Cecil peoples the judge and the one dumb ass guy who likes to rest Fightin brings up his need to start a fight, anyway he had it one, two, five for Condit. How in the fuck did Carlos Condit win the fifth round in his eyes? Or even the first two rounds? This cruise that our jazzy system is so fucked and we're still dealing with it today and that was 10 years ago. All this board down to was Dan not wanting Nick anywhere near that built because of marijuana and now look at they are even give a fuck. Because everybody uses marijuana every motherfucker.
I wanted Nick to win that fight but he didn't…. Condit had the perfect gameplan and Nick didn't adjust at all, if he had grappled more he would have EASILY won it.

The only fight where condit was scared to trade with someone. condit before that fight was an absolute savage and going for crazy knockouts with no fear of consequences. This fight he would do light touch leg kicks and was backing up the whole time it was wild after he claimed it was going to be a "dog fight". I dont think he ever fought like this again after all the hate he received, i remember everyone started calling him "natural born runner" 😂 greg jackson did the same thing with clay guida when he fought gray maynard. What pisses me off the most is they gave DC the win over Gustafson because Gustafson did the exact same thing Carlos did here, gave Maynard the win over Guida too, disengaged every confrontation, ran away and reset. Fought like a coward and the judges took it into account on the scorecards
