  1. The footage of him getting inducted into the A&M HOF was excruciating. I loved the doc. Made me sad at the end, but the story had to be told. I hope Johnny finds his purpose.

  2. Johnny Manziel is a good example of having all the gifts physically but having no mental strength, he had potential to really be the next big thing.

  3. Who cares is right. Why did he even get a Netflix special. He been washed. Privileged lil white boy still has his name in everyones mouth. Incredible

  4. An addiction is hard to beat unless you replace it with something healthy, productive and exciting. I don’t see Manziel having that. We will probably hear about another Johnny incident in the near future. I have no faith in him.

  5. so sad stories like this, not that i feel bad for him, but man i cant imagine laying in bed at night staring at the ceiling thinking about what i threw away if i were him… that would crush me

  6. A guy from his hometown said that it was totally expected that he would fall flat on his face. The guy said the family he came from is known for being total fu(k ups…..and there was NO WAY he was going to be able to handle being a star.

  7. If you win, people will put up with your nonsense. Look at Terrell Owens, chad Johnson, donte stallworth, cam Newton. Problem is when that production is no longer worth the headache, your career is cut short

  8. Just because your good at football compare the average person doesnt mean you love the game. Johnny just loved to party. Thats on him! Let him live

  9. Haven’t seen it, nor am I Johnny fan, but man we’re those A&M times truly special.

  10. Manzell's attitude seems be that rehab is for quitters, for the weak. Ponder that thought. Real men don't cry. Real men aren't quitters. Real men don't enter rehab.

  11. I wonder if opposing teams schemed to prey on Manzell's addictions. The story is told about the Chicago Bulls' cheerleaders being at a bar getting Larry Bird drunk with free beers they were buying him the night before the first round of the playoffs. On game day, Bird lit the Bulls up, and then walked off the floor, but first walked by the Bulls' cheerleaders saying, ‘Thanks for the beers.'”

  12. Theres levels to everything, he had some talent but never put in the work to be great like watching film, 0 hours on his ipad on film reviewing, to be great you got to put in the work, MJ,brady, magnus, jon jones all watch film, seen mistakes made adjustments and they got to the top, it aint easy being at the top, you got to have discipline, also when you get millions at a young age its fkn hard cause all you wanna do is have fun booze, drugs, and chicks who doesn't want that. Its a good film for young athletes to learn from and what could happened to your career when you dont take it seriously.

  13. My whole thing is i hear how nfl teams do deep dive on a player, especially a qbs past, and how tf did the browns not see the red flags

  14. He was already rich why would he have the motivation to play football get hit etc and all that comes with it lol

  15. AJ made a great point early…. when he started playing at A&M, especially after upsetting the Tide, those games became big time must watch games….. he was a character…. he was larger than life… he was the epitome of the Texas high school football rockstar…. he was Lance Harbor from "Varsity Blues"….he had it all…."the look", the personality, the skills…. he was Johnny frigging Football!!!!
He's obviously never going to escape that label of "bust" that he's rightrully earned at the professionally level. But, it would be nice if we could remember those 2 years at A&M, and the atmosphere and buzz and hype about the kid who became a Texas legend.

Also, something not to be forgotten is that he was the first collegiate player to openly square off with the NCAA about making money off his personal image. And while he ultimately paid the price with a suspension, his defiance was the momentum that was needed for athletes to cash in on NIL deals. It took less than a decade.

  16. I thought it was pretty good, pats definitely on point that it’s a good doc for young athletes and just young people in general, even if ur not an athlete u might get something out of it

  17. I enjoyed that documentary! And I believe the point of it all is how good his life is with out football ! Like mentally football was overwhelming for tha guy ! I had no idea Johnny was such a hustler n shyt
