I have a grandchild who lives for golf. New generation kid loves the PGA and LIV He plays off 10 at our local course. Not bad for a 11 yo. I asked him after a round who is his favourite golfer,. without hesitation he said Bryson. I said what about Tiger. The reply was, used to be good Pop don't know that much about him.The world moves on. He is fascinated by my old Persimmon Mcgregors and is amazed I can still hit them 200yrds. Does not understand the meaning of hitting one out the screws. Any pro round of 58 should be celebrated. Gotta a box of unused balata balls in the shed . The young fella will find these tricky with his state of the art clubs.
Ryder Cup is match play . Hole by hole . Can't be compared to stroke play.. Win 10 holes your in.
