  1. Thanks for watching guys! Love to hear your thoughts on any of the irons tested through the video!

  2. I use modern component clubs with a simple cavity back design that came out 30 years ago. Forged heads, simple and clean looking, no gimmicks, great feel and very forgiving. Unlike all the stuff coming out nowadays, these club(heads) have stood the test of time. I also love the "old school" lofts (I'm 78 and I still carry a 4 iron!). So it's great to see a major company like Ping acknowledge that new is not always better, and that "what works" is really what is important.

  3. Never been a big Ping fan myself can't say why other then I haven't …. though I did love their putters ! Another great vid my dude ~

  4. I think Ping just listened. Also, pings I230’s are used the LPGA, PGA, and LIV golf tours. One of the most used irons in Professional golf.

  5. One of the most interesting videos of the year. The reviews of the blueprints were so underwhelming. This video with reference to Fitzpatrick's win and S65 (?!) performance is very clever and explains the rational to Pings new clubs so well. Great job Simon.

  6. Great vid mate! 🙌 you’re really piling on the trick shots these days. I’d love to see a full compilation vid 🔥

  7. Right when i was thinking "how many takes.." you answered. Pretty funny timing.

I loved the look of the blueprints but the price made them not even a consideration. My T100s were $400 or so less. Feel like Ping is trying to straddle the line of tech and forged and thinking people will pay extra for that…but never see blueprints out and about.

  8. I'm surprised you havn't done a video(or maybe i missed it) on the 620 cb's. Fairly obscure irons in the titleist lineup, but 2 players that won majors this year have them in the bag. I built my set for about $350 off ebay. They are about as close to blades that i've found as far as size and look behind the ball. But way more forgiving. I'm not a huge fan of the hard feel compared to my mp 33's, but the forgiveness on my mishits for such a small head is incredible imo. I wish mizuno made something like them because i'd switch in a heartbeat.. maybe muira has something, but i cant quite afford those even 2nd hand.

  9. I believe the older models are better then todays stuff. I still use Adams CMB’s irons as there’s nothing that beats it for me, I just reshafted to more current but the weight and tech in them are amazing
