  1. After watching your break 75 with Charlie Hull I was glued to my first ever women's golf tournament and was blown away by the skill and professionalism. So impressive! Thank you for inspiring me to watch. On another note: most golfers do not get the opportunity to try out lots of different brands of clubs on the course and rely on purchases based on someone like you giving a decent review and then sticking with them. If they're not the best looking on the course in two years time, so what.
Excellent podcast as always. Keep them coming.

  2. Really enjoy listening to and watching your videos. Just getting back into Golf, Last Sunday at Ferndown Golf Club in Dorset, Watched the Semi finals and final of the English Amateur Championship. Standard was unreal.

  3. Have to say I didn't write the email in, but similar thing happened to me and I just started mixing it up at the club and started playing with other members and now have a large choice of friends I can play with. Did mention to friend and he took it on board but now I play with him sometimes and now play with others too. Do it !

  4. Question… if nobody breaks par at this course, is it really par??

Isn’t par what the course ‘should be’ played to?

    Is this too deep? 😂

  5. LPGA is much better viewing golf by a long shot. The ladies play golf use all the clubs in the bag. If your into watching men hit driver then 60 degree over and over, to each there own.

  6. USA! USA! USA! You lads are done for… like King George v George Washington

  7. Players get hot during stretches every season. This is just how it goes. Last year it was Scheffler, This year its Lucas Glover. Guy does ask a lot of dumb questions 😅

  8. Rick stop trying to nickel and dime us for ad revenue….can't skip the ads now….Rick Shields has jumped the 🦈

  9. It’s gotta be Titleist. Callaway and Taylor Made are the only two that even come close, but Titleist’s domination of the ball market is so extreme it gives them the win. Good drivers, irons, and some of the best wedges are for Titleist too. That comes from somebody who plays mostly Callaway clubs with a few Pings and plays Srixon or Snell balls.

After Titleist, I’d say some of the smaller brands that specialize in one thing are best. Puma, footjoy, Clickgear, Stewart, etc.

  10. Rick last week: "I am going to re-dedicate time and practice to my game." Rick this week "Haven't hit a ball all week." Called it.

  11. Hi guys. I’m based in NZ and throughly enjoy the channels. I have been watch Rick for a few years now and I am having a similar “bad patch” with my golf. I watched the HIT channel and the T200 /T350 seem to be ideal to help fix my golf. Would you, Rick, ever change your clubs to a more forgiving set to get you back on track? Should I do that?

  12. DP Worl Tour in Northern Ireland, not Ireland. Big difference 😂 I'll be there, might see if I can pay Ryan for an answer

  13. Rick, check out the Edwin Watts in Orlando next time you're in town. The one near Bay Hill, more used clubs than I've ever seen.

  14. I think majority would be Ball: Pro v1 Putter: Odyssey Wedges: Vokey Irons: Mizuno Woods & Driver: close between ping and Taylor Made

  15. Unfortunately I think Tommy (whom I love) has a case of the Paul Casey's (whom I also love) and finds ways not to win.

  16. Have the courage to talk with your friend about your concerns. If they aren't bothered by it thats ok. Try signing up for a few smaller Net tournaments and meet some people. It's ok if people don't take the sport as serious as most of us. Sad that they aren't learning the proper edict and course management but unless you're comfortable addressing that move on. Look up STATE skills from Crucial Conversations. Could give you a format to try that will help with this and dozens of harder conversations. In the end you'll feel better and strengthen relationships with the people you love in your circle. Keep swinging!

  17. I think it was the late great Peter Alliss who said that handicap golfers should watch women golf and try to imitate them not male tour pro's

  18. Agree with Guy, would much prefer to watch the ladies golf for the consistency and skill level having to hit clubs throughout the bag, instead of the golf like most men’s comps where they hit the 300+ driver and then only ever use a wedge or nine iron in to the green.

  19. I'm not a great golfer but I know my fair bit about metal and such and yes 100% you can cut 3/10 of an inch off of a shaft. Side not who measures inches in fractions of 10 lol very odd!

  20. Rick best hold back those desires to offer £1,000 putting bets!! Guy might be hot on the putter again!? 😂😂😂
