The FedExCup Playoffs launch this week with the FedEx St. Jude Championship at TPC Southwind in Memphis, Tennessee. The field contains the top 70 players in the FedExCup standings from the 2022-23 PGA TOUR regular season. Leading the field at No. 1 in the FedExCup standings is Jon Rahm. He’s rested since his brilliant T2 finish at The Open Championship, which was his seventh top-three finish of 2023. His four victories on TOUR in 2023 (including the Masters) and a T-5 finish last year at TPC Southwind will make him extremely confident in his chances in Memphis this week. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler looks to continue his stellar run in 2023 that has him ranked second in the FedExCup Standings. He has won twice and recorded 19 top-25 finishes in 20 starts this season. He had also made seven straight top-fives before finishing T23 at The Open in his most recent start. Coming in third in the FedExCup standings and ranked No. 2 in the Official World Golf Ranking, Rory McIlroy will be looking to start his FedExCup defense strongly. Since his T7 at the PGA Championship, he has a win and a second-place finish among seven results in the top 10. Others to look out for this week are Max Homa, Patrick Cantlay, Viktor Hovland and Xander Schauffele.

  1. i am starting to notice (over the past year or more) that when it is Hot, has Rained, will be "Ball in Hand", and Soft receptive greens that the Koreans excel. Tommy is also good in those conditions.

  2. Watch out for Lucas, whose still on fire, and tracking to win back to back! Tommy Fleetwood too, if he shoots a 66 I think he'll win it, but he's got to get past Lucas first.

  3. Would like to watch this but alas………you have to have a sub with some streaming app or the such. BUT not with LIV golf…….it's FREE!!!!

  4. What is the point of showing the best strokes ? So that the sponsors' logos are broadcasted ?
