the good news
celtic 66% accuracy in shot making, better than angeball which managed 50% at best,
mid speed ball speed and passing in the final third leading to more accuracy, as opposed to high speed approach under angeball,
not so good news ,
only 53 passes into final third , and thats with ross country being fairly open , well down on angeball of anywhere between 70 to 90 final third passes . team heatmap indicates not enough possession in and around the edges of the box . average field position of the midfield is almost behind the halfway line.
this could come to bite celtic in the backside as the rest of the league adjust their tactical approach and play a lower line and defensive block . celtic got a little lucky today with less than optimal tactics by ross country . had ross country stood back another 10 meters , could have been a troublesome day for celtic
