  1. Je suis droitier et depuis que je release ma main gauche au Target ma qualité de mes
    coups s’est améliore considérablement.
J’ai l’image de lancer mon bâton vers la cible.
    Ça fonctionne très bien.
    Merci Shawn pour les conseils.

  2. I hear a lot of talk about how the left wrist goes into an extension release which keeps the club square to the arc with no rolling of the face like you show here, which requires timing.

  3. This was a great video Shawn and Mu!! Please do more course playing lessons! Cheers 🙌🙌🙌

  4. I hit one driver on the course last week with swing caddie measuring my numbers. 266 yards carry 1.48 smash 104 swing speed. 154 ball speed. It's blows my mind Mu's swing speed is around my ball speed. Doesn't seem humanly possible LOL

  5. Mu stares at the hole and that worked! To me the most important thing staring at the hole does is keep your head steady. I will watch all of these guys on the practice green at my course and none of them keep a steady head through contact.

  6. So nice to hear you say it's okay to release the club! I've had so many instructors try to get me to change and not let the toe pass the heel of the club. Curious about the change to Cobra equipment?

  7. Shawn, enjoyed the on course video. What are your thoughts on the Rapsodo launch monitor vs the PRGR? Thanks as always for your replies.

  8. I would love to see more playing videos! On lag putts I'm back to looking at the hole during the putt and letting the brain calculate the distance and feel. Much closer now and make one from time to time

  9. So Mu and Sav's elbow pits both face the sky at address? Now I'm really confused… At the 2 minute mark, your lead elbow pit is facing more backwards than up??? Shouldn't the elbows be mirror images of each other. At least that's what I thought I got from the first 3 minutes of this video??? At the 8:35 mark, your lead elbow pit is facing backwards, not up. So you have to manipulate it from facing the sky at address to facing the target at impact? Pretty confusing Shawn.

  10. Should the trail arm be straight at address or have a little bend? When should trail arm begin to fold? Sometimes I struggle with tension trying to have a wide backswing!

  11. Hi Shawn thank you for the video! I really enjoyed the format of talking about the fundamentals and then applying them on the par 5. great great.

  12. When I try to fade by aiming at ip and then throwing the tee left of the ip, i go straight left no fade or draw just straight left 😢😢

  13. Hey Shawn I sent in a swing analysis on Saturday and when i sent it the site said it was having problems getting the swing videos. Just check to make sure they came through. Thanks.

  14. Great to see the teacher keep teaching the student. Funny how Mu lost focus and his course strategy lacked. But from the outside, you know his game inside and out so you know the best shot for Mu. Like a great student, Mu takes it in stride.

  15. Thanks for bringing me better awareness of my elbow positioning! This video really helped me, and almost eliminated my slice (two buckets of balls so far, but we all know how that can change!)

  16. Hey Shawn. Great job on these videos. I love your channel! So being "almost" a senior, turning on the backswing seems a little more restricted than it could be. So I was in the back yard today with some practice balls and a 4 iron. I know 4 iron can be a tough club to hit for some. So when I was hitting it really well, that was a good sign.
So here's what I did. I've been using the strong grip you recommend. Then I took my normal setup. Next I drew the right foot (back foot) back to close the stance. I brought the club back inside the line as the closed stance allowed me to do (and makes it a lot easier). Then I discovered something. And I'm wondering if this is related to Hogan's comment where he said he wished he had 3 right hands….. So with the closed stance I found I couldn't turn fast enough in the downswing and my body literally couldn't "go left". In other words no matter how fast I turned, when I turned, my body "faced" the target at the end of a balanced follow through. I could not face left of target if I tried… physically. So I found that I was not only hitting the ball straight and solid, but I could turn as fast as I wanted and really "thrash" the ball and it was being hit real solid. The turn was the kind that swept the grass real nice and along the target line. So if I didn't "turn hard", I think my shots would have gone to the right. And this is where I was wondering how so many seniors have ugly looking swings but they hit the ball 250 down the middle.. they all turn hard. Maybe the closed stance was getting my backswing into an ideal "backswing slot"??? Your thoughts?
