Out of touch millionaire doesn't know waiter wirk BELOW MINIMUM WAGE and they make 3 dollars a hour
I agree with your take on Cam Newton. I was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. As a lifelong Bills fan, it was bad enough to "suffer" through 4 straight Super Bowl losses. But to constantly hear over and over that Jim Kelly is a loser, as are the Bills, was ridiculous. Kelly was a great quarterback, and the Bills were one of the greatest teams of their era. Negativity seems to always have to take center stage. As you said, though, just because someone makes a lot of 💰 doesn't mean they're better! By the way, I enjoyed your time with the Bills and wish you success on your show! Really enjoy the Wileyisms 😀
Another Great Episode from Dat Dude! If the person serving me makes my experience a good one, even if they're just being genuine when they ask me how my day is going or if there's anything they can do for me, i tend to tip those people and i tend to make it count. Everyone ought to be nice but everyone isn't. For those who bring the sunshine and positive vibes, I am more than pleased to share with them. That's my philosophy but I also respect exactly what That Dude is coming from. Personally, I only leave a good or great tip or no tip at all. I'm in the music business. I learned a LONG time ago you tip the sound person $20 BEFORE you play. Watch how good you sound! Even if $20 sounds like a small amount, it's the fact that no one else really tips them.
I tip good usually when I can. Tipped an older waitress in Reno, NV $100 for her conversation. She told me about her prime years, when she was under mafia leadership. She said she was offered to be in Playboy but her management wouldn't allow her to do it. She was a very nice lady. I could tell she was bad in her prime.
Wiley you a good dude… IDC what they say about you !! 😂 lol nah im playin.. who won't don't like Wiley?? Cmon now..
Man…..these allegations about Young Dolph Assassination is cultivating. MPD was involved, among a lot of others. They shot that man 22 times….Remember when Dolph said "F*ck the 22M"? That was the contract from Jay Z…who also is involved. Allegedly. Pay attention to the lyrics and symbolic depictions in "Talking to my scale". Dolph owned the businesses around where he was killed. People saw someone running from the back of Makedas to the Family Dollar, which is owned by Dolph. Dolph used Makedas to stash his inventory. People knew that, and had robbed it before. The back doors to those buildings is key. People are saying "007" was killed in a broad day light hit by a man driving a lawn service truck. Just hopped out and shot her dead for no reason. 007 was a grandmother, but she was also a key witness to debunk the "official" story of how Dolph was killed and who did what. Everything is coming to light. YT channels Truresults, Hood Educated and others are putting in that ground work. Straight Drop is the patsy.
Ha i didn't think you'd get into a conversation about tipping, but hey since we are here i'll give my two cents(cheap ass) lol.
I tip everyone from fast food workers, to bartenders, delivery folks, sh*t even tip strippers if a private dance was nice.
Tipping at a places i frequent generally gets me remembered and treated better as a customer.
Ya you get burned every once in awhile for tipping, i tip based on performance, professionalism etc, i never leave people nothing though, generally an act of kindness goes a long way.
Vegas does have different tipping rules because it is such a service oriented city. If I'm at the tables, i'll tip more, so the cocktail waitress will keep coming back and serving drinks.
Marcellus are you a Hennessy dude or a Courvoisier man? Let's get a sponsorship for the channel! 😆
This has been my favorite episode so far. I resonate with the topics so much. Been watching you since sports Nation. Keep it coming and ill continue to follow 👍🏿
DAT DUDE!!!…WE ROCK WITH YOU IN THE BAY!!!
First job was a busy boy!
Been a big tipper since 14. 37 now. I’m black. 10%-15% since 2000.
I've always said TIPS stands for To Insure Prevention (of) Spit. It's almost like a racket you have to pay to make sure that these shady ppl dont sabotage your food. Or at least to minimize the chances. But I guess when you're a public figure as yourself you could substitute that "Spit" with "Shame". Your logic is completely sound on how arbitrary it is with all the comparisons like the drive thru vs the cashier inside when ironically it's those drive thru workers who probably have more stressful job and are usually timed. Overall, gotta love how you not afraid to tackle any of these topics.
@marcelluswileydatdude
This is about the tipping portion of the show.
You mentioned Starbucks and Baskin Robin's and how they want tips for doing nothing.
My thoughts:
I have noticed here in Charlotte, NC. I was applying for a job a long time ago and on the ad, it said 20 dollars an hour. I get to the interview and they said it was actually 15 dollars an hour but employees average 5 dollars extra in TIPS to equal the 20 dollars an hour.
I prefaced that to say that Million Dollar companies emphasize the tip jar/credit card tips in order to pay their employees less. That is why it's built into their software. "Would you like to add 15, 18, or 20 percent".
The obedient employee doesn't notice or care because their paycheck averages out to 20 dollars.
Employees don't know they're being pimped.
P.S. You inspire the hell out of me! I have learned a lot from you! Keep going! 100000 followers Monday afternoon at 3:31 PST.
I want that jersey! @DarrenDeeseofficial
Mcafee is annoying to me. i like it when he's out and AJ hawk is the host
Dude, I’m from Chicago and it’s been well known for years that MJ is a bad tipper. It’s nothing new so stop acting you’re coming at us with some groundbreaking news story.
That’s another thing him and lebron have in common 🙂
Been watching since Sports Nation. Your break downs are so real bro I wish there were more outlets and perspectives out here that shared your outlook.#tipping#cam newton
$5 a person is my rule of thumb for tipping..not tipping should be considered theft lol..jk but kinda serious tho 🤨
Cell…..it’s a culmination of things with Mike that make him disliked. The republicans buy sneakers, in hindsight, isn’t as bad as it sounded originally because republicans AND democrats suck equally…..but the $5 tip isn’t about being frugal…it goes to who he is as a man. His pettiness and self centered personality is always on display. He is who he is and you either like his sneakers or you don’t.
Fun Fact of Life:..No matter what you do or how you do it..SOME ppl gon love you for it..SOME ppl gon HATE you for it…some gon knock you some gon jock you….sound like a "WILEYISM" right there Lol 😂
On the matter of tipping: I hate capitalist thinking like this. Why then, should you get paid more for just being in front of a camera? Anyone can do that. You go out to get food, because your ass is too lazy. So those people provide a service for your lazy fat ass. Or serving your drink for your pathetic drunk asses. Y'all don't wanna tip don't go to restaurants. Cook your own food, make your own drinks, make your own clothes. Capitalists. You get everything served to you on a silver platter and still think you deserve more. Bro, just don't go out. Or don't talk about how much you're making for stating your opinion on national airwaves when there are is a shit ton of competition. Man, these thoughts are super antiquated. Nobody wants your scrub ass jersey bro.
Cam corny af. It ain't funny if you gotta talk about your money 🎶
As someone that grew up in Naij, went to middle/high/college in the UK and now lives and work in the A. No Tip!!!!! You need to tell your boss to pay you properly
$5 is red chip
You and Whitlock was fye on sfy
I hate this tipping thing. We need to hold the business accountable and pay employees more
If the service is good the tip is good. Service is bad tip is bad. We all have jobs and choose those jobs
Another real and refreshing take from Dat Dude!!! Keep bringing it brother!
I have no problem tipping if the server is going above and beyond. If they elevated my dining experience I'll gladly tip. If they angry and doing bare minimum they get bare minimum.the tip is really up to them.
People tryna say servers make less than minimum wage before tips…but what about after? There's a reason why they don't wanna change the system, it's bc they make more in tips than they will on a straight pay (look at South Park guy's restaurant, they paying their servers 30/hr and they still whining). Bigger problem with tip system is nowadays people want to get tip before they do job (esp drivers) and some want a tip for doing jack squat (buffet servers). I tip well when the service warrants it. But these days, people think they deserve 20% minimum for crappy or no service.
100K.
August 4th, 2:00pm.
West-sSide Standard Time.
Tip as gereous as the level of service.
Marcellus-
PLEASE get educated on the laws regarding server pay and PLEASE use your influential voice to change the laws, so these owners can't legally shift the obligation to pay their employees properly, which is what they are now doing.
PLEASE don't condone and justify stiffing servers in this current environment or they are working for free, which is even less fair than having to tip. I agree that the laws should change and owners pay their staffs. But we have to change the law, not screw the little guy.
You aren't hurting the owner, you are hurting the person who can't help the laws.
Also keep in mind that prices will rise approximately equivalent to the pay raises, so not much would change your bottom line. Econ 101
You forgot about the gesture Cam made to a kid. That was very inappropriate…What he said no issues with but the gesture to a kid is not acceptable.
