Ratings are so weird. You just compete at MPO at an A tier tournament youre almost guaranteed a 900 rated round
Keep throwing 🙂 I would not tell you to stop filming, it might be a good anchor to separate play and fun from just fun. BUT if the batteries or something in the setup of the camera is having hickups, just let it go, you can get back to the course and do a recap or have a showing with the practice footage and some colors instead if it's important to let it all out or getting the creator-cashflow steady. 😉
A 5 minute putter or mid fieldwork-session is all good for me once a week 😉
This seems to work for me so I'll share it. When I'm playing poorly (or not to the standard I want), I just play for par. Get a few pars in a row and get some confidence in your game back. Would love to see you playing as well as you want to out there.
Hey dude, something that seems to help with the nerves is the Wim Hof Method, it's a breathing technique paired with cold exposure, may be worth checking out. Dude is able to get people to climb a mountain in winter in shorts after like 3 days of practicing this method.
Don't overthink it man. Go with your first instinct and just commit. Once it's out of your hand the last shot doesn't matter. Keep your head up!
Train more on windy days. Get used to how the disc flys with different wind directions. Another good time to train is on rainy days. I wasn’t prepared for my first tournament, it rained the entire first round. I had no idea what to except for weather so I didn’t have adequate towels, no umbrella, no rain gear at all. Everything got wet and there was nothing I could do to grip the disc. Literally my jeans, my shirt, my entire bad plus towels got wet, my fingers pruned up and that was that. Because I went through that, I learned to be prepared. You are learning a lot. Good job so far brother. Keep at it.

Tough to play tournament when you don’t trust your bag with your putting being off. You putt so well in all your videos, shouldn’t take much to get it back

I totally understand the pressure you feel to perform. I have the seem feeling during my tournaments. Im not the person to give you advice since you have more experience than me. But what helps for me is trying to focus on my own game. Try to play for par each hole don’t the other people on the card. Just focus on you and your game and you should feel relaxed and you can pick up the pace half way into the round

I love the tournament round coverage and commentary… Suggestion: leave a little space between sentences so we can take in some of the round a bit better. slow down a bit. love the content either way!
Dont think just do my man. it seems you just have a lot going on in your own head aka tournament event/disc selection/ camara/ camara stand / batteries/ camara on camara off an or angel of camara/form focus an so forth. Just gotta play your own game insted of working on the impressions of what others will think of you later. whole time it just looks like your tense an cant relax your self enough to keep that focus needed when needed to where you beat your self up on almost every hole i feel for ya man just gotta get that clear head an play for the love and fun of the game an if you place or win its just that much more of a bonus at the end of the round/event. Much love man the will be much more to come

Casual observation: you are more inconsistent on backhand tee shots than I've seen you in the past, which appears to be due to your head/eye position at release. You seem to be looking up early and at different times… take for what it's worth I'm no pro…. 19:23

So I looked something up this morning. These are players who shot +5 in a single round in DGPT Elite Series events this year: Paul Ulibari, Emerson Keith, Bradley Williams, Ben Callaway, Niklas Anttila, Kevin Kiefer, Evan Scott, Gavin Babcock, Nikko Locastro. You're going to be just fine. The more tournament exposure you get, the closer your scores will begin to match your talent.
