You really need to look in the mirror and question what you’re doing, talking about players like the way you’re talking about me on this thread when you have absolutely no idea what is going on in their lives. My dad died on the morning of the 31st May. He was severely ill for a long time. I don’t know if you have a dad Jack. I hope you do, and that you’re close with him, then you can perhaps imagine a fraction of the pain I’m feeling, and how insignificant snooker is for me and has been for some time, knowing that I was about to lose my hero. I missed some shots that I’d have expected to get – so fucking what? I hope you never have to watch your dad, your big strong idol, your benchmark, the one you turn to with your life’s problems, wither away to nothing in front of your very eyes, and I hope you never then have to stumble upon comments from people behind keyboards criticising your performance at work, suggesting that you’re so bad at your job that you must be doing it badly on purpose for financial gain, questioning your whole integrity as a human being. Your comments are a disgrace.
One of most likeable players around, so happy for Dom here.
