I really like the idea of following a YouTube golfer attempting to make it on tour its just a shame it Micha. He comes across as such a #%#@ I just can't bring myself to watch him
Micah is a good golfer but there are 100s better than him who never get anywhere near the tour just seeing him play with the Bryon brothers you can tell the big difference in standard but good luck to him and hopes he for fill his dreams
I don't hate on Micah… but I'm a realist. These guys on the PGA Tour Canada are really just that much better… and the course setups are not what he's used to.
Totally agree with you Nate! Wish I had the balls to chase my dreams but it’s risky and hard, but that’s what is so important about people like you and Micha chasing your dreams through the struggles, it helps us all see what is possible! Love the content and maybe you could incorporate the lights on/off into your regular feeds, it was freaking hilarious😂
The problem is he makes comments prior to the tournament that their are a lot of gettable/birdie holes out there and proceeds to make only 3 birdies in 2 rounds! He's very cocky for someone with no golf pedigree!

I get it the sponsors wanted someone known there. I know someone who does grind on that tour and I do think Micah should had to go through the qualifier or try to earn a card. Him being there will not bring more money to the players. As it is the Canadian tour cut the purses in half this year. +15 over will probably keep sponsees from giving him a spot for a while. I do not dislike him for playing in it. It does show you tube golf is not pro golf level but I do enjoy watching his videos

Big ups to Tig for going out and playing in a PGA event. Many people have no idea how tough it is to play elite golf 3-4 days in a row yet alone a course prepped for PGA events. At my home course, I can break 80 from the blue tees when I play well. A month ago, there was a D1 golfer that was going to fly out to play on the Korn Ferry Tour that was randomly paired with me and he shot -6 from the tips using irons only. It goes to show how well good amateur or Korn Ferry/Q School golfers are. Insane talent. Most YouTubers won't be able to hang with those types of golfers not including random scratch weekend warriors that trash talk all the time. Much respect for Tig for going out and trying the PGA events.

He intentionally misleads with clickbait titles. He’s open for criticism for his dishonesty. You want to trick people in to thinking you’re playing on a actual PGA tour, don’t get upset when you come in dead last at a far lesser tournament and people call you out for it.

Saying he isn't at the level of the PGA Tour Canada players isn't a knock on Micah, it just shows how insanely good the PGA Tour Canada players are and how tight golf is at the pro level. People need to realise the difference between Micah shooting -3 at his home course on a Monday and the level you need to be at with professional golf. His putting and short game is unreliable, he has a pull hook miss with wedges and irons and he's clearly not comfortable with his driver which is his greatest strength. Don't want people to be 'negative' or question your decision to do these events? Play Better.
I think he should do a series where he travels from state to state and plays the men’s state amateur champion. That would be fun to watch.

that's literally the point of a sponsor exemption, to get someone that draws a crowd 😂so idk why people are mad. On the other hand, Micah just doesn't have it, he's not cut out for the tour, and someone in his corner needs to tell him that.
He left GG to pursue being a pro, but the majority of his time seems to still be spent on vlog content that’s more for entertainment. So I don’t see how he expects to play good in events like that. He’s also his own worst enemy and lets bad shots get in his head way too easily….aka throwing clubs at his YouTube championship. Nice guy, just not a fan.

I loved the duality of micah's struggles at the CPGA event, and nate struggling to keep the lights on. Im sure there's a metaphor there somewhere.

Haters gonna hate.. Nothing wrong with him playing in tournaments and trying to better himself and achieve his goals. 99% percent of people hating on him would have shot a higher score in that tournament.

Micah is just bad to be honest, wow he can hit the ball far but scoring is difficult for him with bad iron shots and really bad short game
I disagree with he has to post professional stuff to get more views. I have zero desire to watch a guy who clearly has zero chance of being pro. It’s way more entertaining to watch him play matches and different formats with players with similar skill. But to each their own I guess.

Everybody is just so supportive nowadays, he needs a reality check and see how much he sucks as a pro golfer. All this support from 20 handicaps online won’t help him at all. George Bryan is a perfect example, a much better golfer now because he realized that he sucked. We will see him do well in the future, maybe even pga tour events🦾.
Only issue with someone like Micah – who is strong off the tee and relatively, relatively weak on and around the green is there are no videos on improving the weakness. I saw the clubfitting and it was a great video, people lining up to record the driver swing saw multiple more smashes yet the putting fit has no follow up. I looked through 12 months of videos and no putting videos.
