Morning Stuart. Interesting video (as always). Be interested in your thoughts on coaches who teach ‘taking the hands out of the swing’ ie more rotational swing?
I thank you for your videos you have given me a new outlook on my golf.
My problem was the clubface at impact
and used a round of golf to fix it, remembering some of your videos suddenly things come together and hit a 5 iron over the water to 6inches for a birdie. Keep the content coming as you bring a fresh outlook on golf.Regards Roger.
What about grip pressure In Different parts of the hands? Squeezing the last 2 fingers against the pad of the left hand will be different to squeezing the forefinger and thumb….no? Also different pressure in the left and right hands….. clearly l am over thinking this but maybe if you do remake the grip series it could be explored there?…… nice one though Stu
I had four birdies on my last round of golf two days ago and a lot of that I contribute to your explanations on the physics of golf. My takeaway has improved by pushing down on the handle at the start and it reminds me to keep my left shoulder down and not pull my arm across my chest. Hitting the ball closer to the flag- much thanks.
Thank you 🙏🏽 Thank you!!!!
Finally, someone who makes sense of it all. Thank you so much Steward!! 🙏🏽
Enjoyed this video, Stuart. What I took away from it was that we should not focus so much on grip pressure because once we have the correct orientation of our hands on the club (different for every golfer) and are comfortable with said orientation our grip pressure will naturally adjust itself because of the comfort level we have holding the club. This will allow us to swing faster at a more comfortable level, and thus allow the natural sequence and timing to take over. Cheers.
Thanks for the shout out mate 😊
Thanks for the shout out glad to be of service
I’ve never heard such detailed discussion about grip pressure, particularly when in the swing it should feel light. Coach Cartwright is the goat!!!
