  1. I understand reviewing catches where the ball may have hit the ground before being caught because as a fielder sometimes you just dont know. This forensic crap just to justify somebodys pay packet should stop.

  2. Mr Trescothick…ex-test player, former Somerset captain and now batting coach not knowing the rules of cricket…what??

  3. Duckett catch was out, shocking decision. Root pretty much did the same thing when he caught Travis Head but wasn't questioned. We've gone from the excitement of Bazball to Body-line cricket where it's too hard to score in the space of a few days as the pitch is lifeless and favouring the batsmen too much. I hope this series gets back on the competitive path we wanted to see after the first game and not just a bouncer after bouncer to stacked leg side fields.

  4. Starc caught the ball and had full control, what he did with the ball afterwards is irrelevant.

  5. The poms short pitched rubbish made for one of the dullest sessions I have ever seen. Wasn't bazzball supposed to make the game entertaining. It was pitiful.

  6. The history… stokes was out plum lbw in 2019 but englands hopes of winning is up to the umps

  7. Trescothick is a cheat…2005 Ashes, he was in charge of the Murray Mints which the poms used the whole series to make the ball perform better….biggest cheats in cricket. But at last he admitted he was a cheat

  8. It was really stupid to use the ground to finalise the catch. Definitely caught it but he hadn’t completed the motion for compliance. So by the laws it’s not a complete catch even though he’s caught it. Infuriating!!!

  9. England doen need help and so they're getting from the umpires. Starc had control all the time even to the point where he went to ground. The ball didn't hid the ground first. Just a stupid decision

  10. The outrageous decision of the 3rd umpire beyond belief
English supporters have the gaul to condemn Smith,Warner for the actions of sereral years ago .3rdumpire needs to step down No matter how you spin this idiotic decision England in the eyes of most people can only be described as extremely lucky or in my opinion how much money changed hands.????

  11. Have you ever seen a more boring aussie team then this one ? Oh and they have two cheats in there team

  12. I don't understand why the english team would want flat dull pitches when the bowlers can barely reach 135km/hr. Australian pitches are dull and flat, so why would England not want Green wickets.
BTW I m an Australian and thanks for allowing David Warner to keep his spot in the team he is a known flat track bully that can't play sideways movement.

  13. It was a fair catch…but…Starc is dumber than dumb to brace himself and keep his balance there by…sliding the ball over the ground. What an idiot.

  14. It’s very clearly not out. You have to complete the action without the ball touching the ground. If he’d had his hands under the ball, and it had popped out on impact with the ground, everyone would say it’s not out. By grounding the ball he avoided that possibility

  15. Rugby union have managed to drive fans away in droves with the video ref interference and ridiculous calls, let’s hope Cricket isn’t destroyed in the same way, the bloke caught the ball and had full control he had to put his hand down to break his fall and held the ball throughout. How is that not caught, fkn ridiculous call

  16. Nonsense……………..If you need to cheat by mis-interpreting the rules then you can stick the game where the sun doesn't shine.

  17. Definitely Not Out. How can it be out when the ball touched the ground?

  18. Er, England have bigger problems now. Other than brook, duckett and stokes who else has made scores. Stokes needs support and is not getting it. I mean what was Jonny bairstow thinking of?

  19. Bairstow knew the rules when he tried to doit to Warner on day 1 . . . He is a complete dumb dumb for giving his wicket away

  20. Funny that he mentioned that England wouldn't have slowed the game down like Starc & Lyon did, & then Stokes & Broad did a very similar thing.

  21. English captain Paul Collingwood against NZ was asked by umpire Mark Benson if he would reverse an out decision against NZ’s Grant Elliot. He replied no. The English bowler Ryan Sidebottom blocked Bensons path getting to the crease (possibly accidentally?) and the delay caused Elliot to be run out. So much for the spirit of cricket. As to cheating… English player Moeen Ali fined for ball tampering in the VERY FIRST TEST of THIS TEST SERIES!!! Australia suspended their best 3 players for doing the same, including the then top batsman in the world (he maybe still is?). Remember English Captain Michael Atherton ball tampering in 1994 etc etc etc. There are many English examples of “cheating”… like “lolly-gate” for example…. and today they are “the pot calling the kettle black”. The real issue in this 2nd Test for the English is that they lost the match.

  22. That was a fair catch on any given day>>>what happened to the so called spirit of the game.
