  1. I've found that the pro golfers who do go down the Good Good type route tend to stay at the level of their regular competitors. Luke, Ben, and Brad appear to struggle to lift themselves above that. Maybe it's just too distracting to play the fun challenges and not really grind.

Wesley Bryan being the obvious exception being the PGA level player he is, maybe George too.

I thought that Micah's recent withdrawal from the happy fun time content might be a signal that he is struggling to grow while doing that type of content. It looks like he is committing to the grind. Power to him for trying to focus on his goal, while still making his own brand of content. He is kind of unique in the golf YouTube space.

  2. Whether Micah makes it or not he is going after his dream. It's far better to try and fail than to have never tried. I wish him the best.

  3. It’s sad to see, just because his games isn’t as strong as he thinks it is Solid player but way short of what it takes from a consistency standpoint

  4. I caddied for Josh Goldenberg in Winnipeg when the PGA Canada came here last year. He was also a sponsor invite. He had to finish in top 20 to qualify for the next PGA Canada event. Unfortunately he finished T22 so he didn't qualify. I hope Micah can put a few good weeks together so i get to see im in person in less than a month.

  5. I haven’t really been huge about Micah lately but I prefer his content when he focuses on competitive golf. Fits his personality better!

  6. Great content. Love everything you do. Keep on going Nate. By the way, tour missing the yellow Prime on your shelf

  7. This would be cool if Micah had an actual chance. He’ll be in last place

  8. Of others was serious as Micah they would distant themselves and focus on their game. Nothing wrong with that. So what if his YouTube views drop. He did the content thing now he’s taking it to another level.

  9. The reality is, there’s 3 pros on good good that are significantly better than Micah and they went the other way with it, from touring to YT. It was a semi-delusional move to think a) the content he would make would be anywhere near as consumable, long-term b) he’d make it going pro. I hate to hate, but it will always be a selfish, illogical move to me. And, he could have stayed with good good and done the same thing…

  10. I feel like yeah it’s different but I like the take like you said cause it’s different and for my self I’ll never be in his shoes but it’s cool to see what that process would be like .

  11. Sponsor's exemptions from his YT visibility are allowing him to try and take his shot. Doesn't appear it's going all that well but you dont hit shots you don't take. Even if he were to make a mini tour the travel alone would probably be too much for him, if past statements about the GG travel were true. Good for him for stretching the comfort zone, though.

  12. I enjoy all types of content and support Micah so hopefully he does well. Was tracking him yesterday and this morning. Currently 13 over in last place. Hopefully he can have a good round today

  13. Micah only cares about micah and he sees people as stepping stones to use for his own benefit

  14. As long as his sponsors keep throwing dough at tournaments, he will get other sponsors exemptions! Would love to see him attempt to qualify for something.

  15. I am a big supporter of Micah Morris and I get all the “low performance” comments lately, and his results this tournament are horrible. Looks like he had first big tournament nerves on day 1 after posting a +11 but got back into it by only going +4 today. And I’m sure him finishing dead last will get into his own head more than he already is. But I really believe if he gets the help he needs with his game and finds the right coaches and gets more experience he’ll start getting the results he’s fighting for

  16. Bro needs to win some big amateur tournaments before thinking about going pro or else he’s gonna get DFL in every event
