I've been luck enough to play both Royal Portrush and Royal County Down approx. 20 times each. Without a doubt Royal Portrush is the best course I've every played and I lived in Scotland for 12 years. Every hole is unique, course is in great condition, lots of changes in elevation and the views are simply breath taking. Its also seriously difficult, and if your missing fairways and the wind is up, you can shoot anything
Was lucky enough to play this in September last year and yea, it's a special special course. For me it was the first time I'd ever played an Open venue and when you hit shots from the same places you've seen McIlroy and the best golfers in the world play from, it's a very surreal feeling. Every hole is different, the undulations in the fairways and the green complexes are out of this world. Add in the scenery and it's deservedly regarded as one of the very best courses in the world. Brought back some memories watching this vlog. Loved it!

Gaz – the thumbnail is of the US open trophy, not the British open trophy which is the major this course held

18th, high every time. For a bump, I worry that I'd hit it into the steepest part of the hill and the ball would bounce backwards 😂
class content!
Superb course. Lucky to be on course with Keopka! Awesome! Wil be at Hoylake and back at Portrush too…
If you go to the open this year at Hoylake do you fancy a subscriber challenge?
It would need to be quality for the cost of the green fees 🤷♂️
need to invest in a night vision camera haha

Ah, I've been waiting for this!! I've loved this course since Shane Lowry won the Open in 2019. My favourite course in the world.
