Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This YouTube channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!
I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.
I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!
On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.
If you enjoy the channel make sure you hit subscribe and also tap the notification bell so that you are always notified when I release a new video.

Love Ryan. What a guy.👍🏼
Great tips! That tee shot was hammered!
Whenever I am driving the ball exceptionally well (and far for an “old guy”), I am relaxed and I hover the clubhead just off the ground at address. For me, at age 74, a 275 yard drive is “long”, but with no wind assist and no severe downhill holes I have hit several 300-310 yard drives this year when I was relaxed, and two weeks ago I was only 41 yards from the middle of the green on a 355-yard par 4 hole (dead center of the fairway, too).
You need more videos with Ryan.
Thanks Ryan!
Dam I can't read

Just jump & turn 4Head
Hinge worthy?
Nice
i noticed that the ball is not just off the heal of his left foot does this help distance
Ok but how to keep the clubface closed?
The pushing with the legs is key. So much additional power comes from the legs .. that’s one area i’m really bad at.
Nice and short, but still learned a lot. You gotta love it.
You need to be called Ryan. I saw Ryan Fox at the open bomb one 378 yards!
Being 62 years old if I were to coil like that I would be in traction for a month. Ahhhhhh to be 25 again .lol
Driver further? I’d like to hit mine even slightly straight; it goes further right than forwards
Great tips, love the video. When people talk about using the ground, how do you actually put that into practice?
Great video! Short and to the point. Well explained and executed. I'm hoping Ryan does well in his career moving forward. He'd be easy to root for.
Great stuff.
I'm going to try hovering around before hitting to relax the muscles.
The fact that he was able to say all that in one take and then deliver a straight bomb like that. I’d be so nervous about shanking the ball after all the build up and talking
I really like that guy in the blue shirt…
I love how fluid this guy is…..what a lovely open man. Fantastic
Use km/h and you swing even faster!
Yes sir light it up
If you're not shredding the ground under your feet at the driving range hitting drives you're not using the ground to generate power and you're not using all the power generating tools available to you.
Really great tips! Will definitely try them out on the course
GREAT TIPS THANK YOU! 🔥
Good tips there still think one of the main things is just get stronger
I think next time maybe show the tips applied to you, Guy or one of the higher handicapers team members? It might be easier to understand what we might be doing wrong.
been addicted to the vids for a bit now rick!I just started working as a grounds keeper for a country club.
The background music while having a tutorial is like a virus on most YouTube videos in these days —- who started that nonsense- even more annoying if you have this childish repetitive loop running
I’m a lefty and always slice, something I’ll try on the driving range after watching this
You should try to hit it farther without hooking the hell out of it like you do.
Rick hasn't spoke much about James Robinson since Ryan's been on the scene…..
Im not gunna hit it deep until I can quit coming so steep into the damn ball 😡 still at 270, but I’m working so hard on it and keep spinning tf out of it. Probably would carry 300 if I didn’t.
Yep it’s as easy as that ……. in my dreams 🙁.
Their driver*
Great tips. Brian Harman talked about using the ground to his advantage. Served him well this past weekend! What about tee heighth? Ball position between your feet? Any changes there? Thanks Rick.
Yip Ryan can 💣 that big stick 👍
We learn the " 30 waggle" tip from harman last week.. thanks…still 90 mph
I play exactly like this everyday…….then I wake up😳😁
I cant believe you guys can wear metal spikes in the UK. No course in the State will let you do that.
my biggest thing to work on in general is using the ground more
The secret: They can swing much faster… 😊
I have questions about score cards and yardage in the UK. If anyone who is from the UK reads this please feel free to let me know the answer. I know Rick isn't going too. I am sure he has plenty other things to do.
Do score score cards in the UK have the distance in yards or meters on them? I feel like Rick is normally talking in yards and I never really thought. about that until now.
I served in the US Navy and all the military branches use the metric system. It is so much easier to understand and make so much more sense because it is all based off 100"s, or 10s what ever you want tp say. Bottom line it just makes more sense.
Great tips and omg how far did that ball fly and the speed is tremendous 🚀⛳
