Amateurs got to keep things in perspective. Pro’s do it for a living with all their coaches and training, we don’t so how good are we going to be. But to the amateur, what is well for you, that might be breaking 100, or low 90’s, whatever. Bunkers are tough because from course to course, is different sand, compaction, what’s under that first few small measurements Pro play almost the exact same sand consistency week to week baring rain.
Remember your handicap is based on your best 8 rounds out of 20, so 12 rounds can be crap. Also, you can put in the weather and course conditions. Then there is the index factor, a 121 index vs a 148 index is a whole different game.
