Nah. It's between his legs
I totally disagree that there is "anything" wrong with Rory's head or his mechanics. These tournaments are excruciatingly hard to win. And there are, despite what Brooks Koepka said about the potential "pool" of major winners, probably 100 golfers or even more who on the right day could win one of these. There are great players on the tour right now who haven't even been able to win one "regular" tour event. It's almost gotten to the point where winning one of these is a spin of a roulette wheel with 100 players. This isn't the era of Nicklaus, where you truly did have maybe a few dozen that could pull off a major. Rory is fine, and IMO will eventually win a few more, he's too good not to.
Disagree Rory is Britain’s finest golfer since Faldo that’s all. Media and fans me included compare him to Tiger. He’s the only golfer I watch nowadays . But he’s not Tiger he can’t chip, putt like TW his approach game his bunker all excellent but not as good as TW . The only facet of his game which is as good or better than Woods is his driving . Tiger was a one off I’m 51 . Probably won’t see anyone get to double figures in majors ever again. Get over it I have If Rory can win maybe 1 more major in the next ten 10 years it will be brilliant career. The standard gets better all the time. Scheffler, Rahm they won’t get to 5 majors either it’s just too hard nowadays.
What these slick, passive-aggressive announcers are so proud of themselves for, is implying that Brian Harman is a better golfer than Rory McIlroy. The truth is, McIlroy doesn't have everything magically fall in place for him 4 straight days, like it has for the Ben Curtises, Rich Beems, Shaun Micheels, Danny Willets… and Brian Harmans
Rory can't hole birdie putts when he needs to. Its that simple. Plus if he doesn't hole those 5 to 10 footers for par he's shooting 5 over each round.
