What a week it has been at Royal Liverpool. And what a week it has been for Brian Harman.

After mastering both the elements and the links of Hoylake, the 36-year-old from Savannah, Georgia will forever be known as a Champion Golfer.

  1. lol, show us all of these missed putts implying Harman sucks, just show us Harman's shots instead of missed putts from stars ya twats

  2. This is what The Open can bring.
Wicked bounces off undulating turf, small bunkers you have to play sideways/backwards from, wind & rain, internal OOB.
The best players in the world don't always win The Open, but the best player this week did.

  3. Harman – Slow, boring player, 12 club waggles / looks at the target before hitting ๐Ÿ™„ Dismissive and ignorant towards scoreboard carrier et al before every round. Putter like a metal detector.
Anybody to win but him, smh. Anybody.

  4. THE BEST TROPHY PRESENTATION IN SPORT-UNDERSTATED AND TRADITIONAL. LOVE WHEN THEY ANNOUNCE THE TOTAL SCORE, 271, NOT HOW MUCH UNDER PAR AND SAY 'THE GOLD MEDAL CHAMPIONSHIP GOLFER OF THE YEAR'-CLASSIC! THE HIGHLIGHT OF HARMON'S CAREER FOR SURE.

  5. well done brian harman stunning performance but the media namley the GOOD OLD BBC TURNED IT INTO THE RORY SHOW PATHETIC HE WAS BOTTOM END OF TOT TEN FOR ONE DAY ONLY BUT I SAW MORE OF RORY THAN ANY ONE ELSE THAT'S ME FINNISHED WITH THE BBC

  6. It took 1:45 before you showed a shot by Harman who won the tournament by an astounding 6-shot margin. Had it been Rory who won by that margin the highlights reel would've been 100% Rory, no one else.

  7. You showed about four shots, maybe five, from the guy who won the biggest tournament of the year, the champion golfer of the year. Your highlights are quite possibly the worst of any sporting event in the history of the universe. Whoever is making these videos should be fired. Who cares if some player who is +2 hits a good shot? The person making these videos has no idea how to create highlights. ๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿป

  8. This is controversial but all these young YouTubers getting into golf is bringing some right idiots to the game, never heard such a terrible gallery at a British event

  9. As a Brit, I'm ashamed of those that jeered and shouted abuse at Harmon. That is not what we do here.

  10. The Open fans/crowds are renowned for being the most respectful & fair of all. I gotta say Open they most certainly werenโ€™t. Shouting stupid things as players were hitting their shots (spicy meatballs! Mash potatoes!), all adopted from the Americans. And the disrespect to Harman calling & shouting Ricky Ponting just because he looks a little bit like him.
Pull your socks up Open fans, itโ€™s embarrassing.

  11. Undoubtedly one of the greatest Open performances ever. His putting was as good as I've seen from anyone. Those spectators who booed and said things to him should stay away from the open, that's not how it works at this tournament.

  12. 6 minutes in and two putts from Harman, both misses. ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿคฆ What the heck kind of highlights of Harman winning is this?

  13. So happy for Ricky Ponting winning his first major after dominating cricket for so long (if you know, you know)

  14. Don't forget: if you shout "Get in da hole!" at a golf tournament, you are a massive bellend and everybody hates you.

  15. Great golf over 4 days and wanted him to win but since ive learned he hunts wild animals with a bow and arrows ive gone off him! Totally irrelevant and irrational i know but there you go!!

  16. What a fantastic win. To the bloke who on the third day suggested that Brian didnโ€™t have the โ€œstones for itโ€, well heโ€™s proven that such statements can be inspiring also. Fancy a Pommy sports fan suggesting someone from any other country wasnโ€™t up to the task. Hypocrisy in its purest form. There were a multitude of players in this tournament who came up well below expectations and considering the plethora of opportunities to put further pressure on Brian, not one of them stepped up. This performance was reminiscent of Tiger in the manner of not only winning but demoralising the opposition.
No doubt that Brianโ€™s belief that he was capable of winning something big has been confirmed and I hope he goes on to win a couple more. Us Aussies are claiming him as one of our own on the basis that he must be directly related to Ricky Ponting and showed all the mongrel that the former cricket legend has.
