Ayrton Senna has failed to score in the last three races, and will be hoping to get back to winning ways at Silverstone, but local hero Nigel Mansell, winner in 1986 and 87 and an unlikely runner-up last year, is out to please the fans with a home win.

  1. Miracle day for the Minardi team who needed to score 3 points, despite scoring only 1 point since their debute 4 years earlier …

  2. I must make an apology. During the grid lineup, I must confess to never listening to a word you said. It may have been due to the Piquet onboard lap, which was, I admit, mesmerising, but I cannot be completely sure. I promise never to make such a gaff going forward. Kind regards, fan of the show.

  3. Funfact. The swiss television ended the broadcasting of that Grand Prix after a few laps and switched to sidecar-motorcicle…..can anybody think that this would happen today? End an F1 GP for sidecar-racing? They had a swiss team there but come on…..

  4. Congrats on the 1K subs! You deserve a million an will get there eventually. Excellent work, cheers!

  5. Does Prost driving style and the general approach in the race helped him with reliability? His teammates always seem to get the short end of the stick in terms of reliability.
