It’s Story Time, our weekly walk through cricket history via your listener quiz challenges. This week, after a bit too much Ashes madness to record the show as normal, we’ve managed to sneak one in. Title thanks to Winnie, and we’ll find out about someone else who hit a lot of big ones, maybe more than anybody. We’ve got a masterpiece of placement, and we have an Englishman, an Irishman, and a South African walking into a bar.

  1. Great storytime. It is also worth noting that Charles Ollivierre (he of the ‘fancy surname’) was a fine West Indian cricketer who played long prior to their inaugural Test match. He was the first black West Indian to play in the County Championship.

  2. I find watching Geoff Lemom very discombobulating. Can't get Hawkeye from MASH out of my brain. Great show as always fellas, tys.
