The fact that I have had the honor to meet both Kevin Staab and Tony Hawk in person AND am now watching them skate together here is crazy. All of the skaters here bring something unique and different to the table when it comes to vert skating. Thank you to all the pioneers for making skateboarding what it is today both male and female, kicking ass and soaring through the sky on 4 wheels attached to a couple pieces of wood glued together ❤

Only problem is I bet youd be hard pressed to find a vert ramp anywhere these days, unlike the 80s when bowls and verts were everywhere, todays skate parks are just mostly rails to grind, not much vert at all, kick flips and grinds. Times indeed change and we all know we can’t turn back time no matter how hard we wish or try.✌🏻
