한국선수들의 성적부진이 심상치 않다. 한국여자골프의 위상이 점점 가라앉는 느낌이다.
특히 신규진출하는 선수들이 별로 보이지 않는다. 그렇게 되면 KLPGA 의 인기도 점차
시들해질 것은 불을 보듯 뻔하다. 해외에서 꾸준히 성적을 올리는 선수가 필요하다.
Linn Grant should have won by 6 strokes. Somehow she misjudged the wind on at least two holes where the wind was blowing hard right and she ended up missing right, landing in the rough or bunker. Maybe she mishit the ball in the direction of the wind, which would be a double mistake. Near the end of the round, she appeared to have figured out how to adjust to the wind, landing a ball close to the pin. Grant didn't play a perfect game but it was good enough to win the tournament.
Some clutch par saves by Grant coming down the stretch and continued fine play by US Open champ Corpuz, I'll grant you that for sure!!
