2021 Open Champion Collin Morikawa takes on the guess your number challenge. In this video, he goes through his whole bag from the TaylorMade Stealth 2 Driver to his Milled Grind 3 wedges hits it, then guesses what yardage it flew.
Not impressed. They are pros, hit consistant, and know their numbers with each club. Start randomly choosing clubs and make them put that club to a specific yardage. Ex: 9i to 75yrds or 6i to 130. That would show their uncanny ability to control the ball. And they can do it.
I don't get this one? He's hitting into a green that's probably been dissected for every yard by him and his caddie…. So it's pretty easy to tell how far the ball goes. Not taking away from his elite iron play but this is not very surprising. I, a 15 handicaper could do this… Within a 2-4 yards of accuracy

let's go colin! big fan
The depth of understanding these guys have about their game is insane! Enjoyed that 👍
they should just call out a number and the pro try to hit it
interesting the distance gap between PW and 9 iron actually
25yd gap between pitching and 9 is kinda big, no?
Colin: K
Why distance gap PW and 9 and so on? are the lofts different from what we use?
Not easy to do with any new clubs. He guessed that 770 so close
My favourite player!! Time to win another major!!

Anyone else notice that each iron went on the exact same line? 😳
you could walk in a straight line with a rake and pick up every one of his balls. At most they were 2-3 yards off line. Very impressive!
Plot twist: they are zeroing the trackman.
How much do courses hate guys taking a big divot area on an actual hole?
That's a lot of sim time to know those numbers that well!!
