In this edition of the Peristyle Podcast hosts Ryan Abraham and Chris Trevino are back in studio talking about the tremendous football recruiting momentum that this Trojan football team has built up with another weekend of blue chip prospects visiting campus on tap. The guys talk about how this USC football recruiting class of 2024 climbed in the rankings from No. 57 all the way up to No. 19 in the country and No. 2 in the Pac-12 with a lot more room to move up with some more top verbal commitments.
Last weekend didn’t have a high number of visitors but USC did host another Elite Camp with several top prospect on campus working out in front of the Trojans coaching staff. This weekend its back to more major official visits including an extremely impressive group of wide receivers.
This week also features a couple of major recruiting events with the Elite 11 Finals taking place in Redondo Beach and the OT7 Finals taking place in Huntington Beach. If you recall last year at the Elite 11 Finals Ryan and Chris had to leave the event early and come into the studio for an emergency podcast right after the news broke that USC and UCLA were leaving for the Big Ten.
Speaking of the Big Ten, we get Chris’ take on the 2024 and 2025 Big Ten football schedules for USC including his “back home” road trip to Maryland next year.

Another commit this morning!! FTFO!
It's one thing to come for a rosebowl as a big10 Fan. I don't see them coming deep for just a regular season game.
As a Trojan fan is the DMV I am so excited for the Maryland game and chance to see the Trojans in person for the first time in several years! Fight on!
Recent CFP Champs PF/PA: 42-10, 38-10, 42-19, usually 1st. USC 2022: 41-30, 94th worst in the nation. Defense wins championships. This team is going nowhere until the defense vastly improves.
Can USC compete next year in Big 10 with all the travel? Their schedule is brutal
