In this video, i test out three most popular remote controlled electric golf buggies including the MGI ZIP Navigator, Motocaddy M7 Remote and the new Powakaddy RX1. These trollies are all very similar to each other and so i wanted to see if there was anything that could make you lean more towards one over another.

  1. I’d be interested in a review if the Stewart golf trolley. It would be a choice between the Stewart golf and Motocaddy for myself. Thanks

  2. I’ll never buy one of these and I’m not sure how I got here, but I’m sold on the MGI.

  3. MGI have released a Zip Navigator Ai which has GPS built into it. Shame it isnt out yet as I've just ordered the AT model

  4. Great review. I have the Stewart Q Follow (for 3 months). Given the chance, I would probably go for the Motocaddy or Powakaddy. The Stewart does not have a control on the handle, which means there are times where you are desperately trying to remove the remote from your belt (or if you are unfortunate to lose the remote the trolley is useless). The DHC on the Stewart seems to be barely functional. The Stewart seems more flimsy, it sometimes collapses when pushing the trolley (yes, I have run out of power out on the course) which is very irritating and can't be good for the locking mechanism. The weight of the Stewart with battery is a lot more than the others. Although the follow function is useful, I have found I don't use it as much as I had expected (on some occasions it has failed to stop and crashed into my legs, making me nervous to use the function on a downward slope). If anyone would like to swap a Powakaddy RX1 for the Stewart q Follow I'm open to offers.

  5. I have a Powakaddy GPS x7 and the screen does freeze at times which when your having a good round is frustrating as you have to restart it and loose all your scores. Not great..

  6. Great and useful review thanks. I’ve actually got a 17yr old Powakaddy remote controlled trolley, it was / is called a Robokaddy which they stopped making some time ago, so it’s interesting that they’ve re entered the remote controlled market. I need to replace mine as they’ve stopped making spares for mine so I feel a bit vulnerable. I’ve already had to cobble together some repairs this year, but if a motor goes that’s the end of my trolley. I’ve been looking at the Stewart Golf trolleys, so a review of one of their trolleys would be very useful, thanks.
