  2. Damn good video and breakdown. Thanks a ton. Severn absolutely lived up to his name, but notably most of his opponents didn't seem to be slouches either.

  3. 2:05 thanks to his experience in pro wrestling?😂… first of all, he didn’t join pro wrestling until after the UFC…and he did NOT know how to work the public/crowd…that was the reason he failed in pro wrestling…. i don’t understand why people have to lie in situations like this lol…. just give out the real information.

  4. 0:28 wrestling isnt a martial art? 😂 Man thats a good one. It seems youve never been slammed. I wrestled in school. Toughest thing ive ever done, physically.

  5. Damn wrestling with fewer rules and weigth restrictions, was a complete mauling or epic showdown. Every figth could easily be the last figth too.

  6. Tank Abbott, after being defeated by Severn said it was like being roped (sic) by Freddie Mercury.

  7. I was in the 'Nam with Dan. He could choke a 7.62 into a 5.56. He liked to eat hand grenades and fart shrapnel in my face in the foxholes. Shaved my balls with a bayonet once when I had shell shock and couldn't steady my hand. Super nice guy. Best year of my life!

  8. Dan was a monster. Horrible situation to be underneath this strong ass, determined, iron willed, behemoth. Classic fighter, and a great vid for those who didn't know the name of Dan Severn.
