Xander Schauffele, Danny Willett and Tommy Fleetwood were among the stars to surprise local charity hero Jo Yates at this year’s Genesis Scottish Open.

With Genesis’ approach to unrivalled customer service and luxury, the DP World Tour, Genesis and Players came together to surprise and reward a local charity hero with an unrivalled, unforgettable and special day at the 2023 Genesis Scottish Open.

Jo is a local resident who’s worked, for twelve years, at Leuchie House, the long-term charity partner of the Genesis Scottish Open. Leuchie House is a national respite charity which provides transformational holidays for people living with neurological conditions such as MS, MND, stroke & Parkinson’s, and helps carers and families have a break from caring responsibilities themselves.

  1. Its lovely to see people get recognised for great achievements. A special Lady. Well done DP World Tour. We need more of this in the world.

  2. What an uplifting video. My wife has MS so this reward is well deserved for Jo. My eyes are not leaking.

  3. That's the way to treat people. Thank you to the DP Tour, Titleist, the tour players and all the others who made this a special day for a deserving individual, Jo. I really enjoyed watching.

  4. I’ll be honest, as a 48 yr old bloke…I was a bit choked up there. What a lovely lady, I’m really pleased for her to have enjoyed such great treatment! Well deserved. 👍🏻

  5. When you see people respond to kindness in this manner, you know it's well deserved and beyond!

  7. This is an absolutely fab video. So much effort from so many and so well worth it. More content like this please, it’s so wonderful to see the game we all love give so much back in this way. ❤

  8. Beautiful things happening for beautiful people👏! Jo deserved all that special treatment she got and a lot more for all the hard tireless work she has put into the charity she works for and supports!! Hope she had a truly wonderful day and a lovely weekend at the event..🏌🏼‍♀️👍👏👏

  9. Having suffered a stroke at 39 10 years ago, I knew very little about golf anymore (having had an 8 handicap) when I ‘came around’ and watched the Masters in Queens Sqaure Hospital London.

Joe who I’ve not met, is obviously one of these amazingly empathetic people in life. She deserves a lot.

I’m now playing off 11. Thank you to the players too for making this a rather memorable and emotional video to watch.

  10. Superb, always great to see genuinely humble people that go the extra mile rewarded in this way. Well done to all the players that gave their time, cost them nothing but gave everything to Jo.

  11. This woman is absolutely radiant. Brilliant watch, inspiring. Cheers Jo!
