simon is dead wrong here. i would bet 1000% that pep, jose, klop, tuchel and Ferguson all gave those kind of speech's, in champions league finals and big games through out history. its those kinds of speeches and those moments which can motive a team to actually get over the line and actually win something. you may say oh is just a speech but if you can drag even 1% of extra motivation from a group of players in the most important parts of the season, that 1% can be the difference between finishing 1st and finishing 3rd. small margins. I would expect pep will be making a very similar to speech to those man city player this week in the champions league final…… ohh and FYI that speech was for the Honduras game where Australia won 3-1 game not Peru
