LSU Baseball and Florida Baseball played in the 2023 College World Series National Championship Game. It was Game 3 of the CWS Finals, with the winner being crowned National Champions!

One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I’ve adopted two different styles, one with logos on the left and a game snapshot on the right, and the other with the logos in the middle and game snapshots representing both teams on either side.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

I like college baseball, but if the two best teams are giving up 20 runs each in back to back games, it kinda sours the taste a bit. That’s not real baseball imo.

Umps seem to be much more accurate than MLB umps.
Game 1 was a toss up. Either team could have won. Then the next 2 were butt kickings. If the left fielder doesn’t make the great catch off of Langfords bat we would have never had a game 3.
Oh well, in baseball the best team doesn’t always win. It doesn’t matter that everyone knows the Gators were a better team. Congrats to LSU
Skenes didn't even have to pitch to impact the game. Just the idea of him being available was enough to make Florida press and make costly mistakes.
This was the worst advertised series in history. No news about these games anywhere, just horrible,!

Unbelievable series. It kind of sucks the general public didn’t get a chance to see Paul Skenes pitch in the final series, he would have taken the nation by storm.
Those last two games were garbage. Both teams should be ashamed.

Great Coaching by LSU. Had to win game 1. Good game management. Game 2 was not looking good so he didn't waste his best pitchers he had left. Game 3, had the players batting for base hits instead of long balls. I think LSU ran out of gas after game 1. The victory sucked what little they had left out of them. Florida was riding too high after the blow out and it cost them in the last game, and LSU found the lightening Florida let go of.
The best game of all was Wake and LSU. 11 tough innings won by a walkoff. A true classic with pitching and defense.
