  1. As a second generation Korean American and parents telling me really sad stories of the Korean War….. I admittedly got emotional. I was blessed to meet SeRi and such a class act.

  2. Not only was Se Ri a role model, but the players she inspired became role models as well. Na Yeon Choi, So Yeon Ryu, In Gee Chun, Jin Young Ko – what a legacy! 👏👏

  3. She opened the door to Korean golfers and gave us hope during the IMF crisis in South Korea 😢. I’m upset that she retired. Well done Se Ri

  4. in case you don’t know how big she is in Korea, every single Korean knows her and admire her. Koreans all started watch LPGA maybe just because of her and remember that time 😉

  5. Se Ri introduced the world to the golfing talent in South Korean. 25 years later the Korean women dominate professional golf. I only wish my dad was here to watch them succeed.

  6. This was a great piece to commemorate the 25 year anniversary of 'the shot', with one of golf's greatest legends. I'm glad that they eventually changed the US Open playoff format, but looking back at that dramatic 92 hole marathon, it seemed to add to the weight of that breakthrough monumental occasion for women's golf.

  7. Really well done👍
Terrific history lesson for those too young to remember at the time.
I did not know that she had that cover to Time magazine back then.

  8. What's odd is that I can barely remember yesterday, and yet a quarter century later this dramatic event is like it happened this morning. I just couldn't believe what I was watching, and it's great to see this excellent documentary about the vast effect this moment had not only in Korea, but across Asia.

Se Ri will always be one of the all-time greats. And not just in golf, but as a person. This was quite moving, and I'm not afraid to admit that almost from the beginning I was tearing up regularly. Thank you, LPGA! 🙂

  9. SE RI PAK IS A 🇰🇷 LEGEND.

    25 YEARS LATER, 7 PLAYERS FROM 🇰🇷
    HAVE WON MAJORS🏆 SINCE 2019.
ALONGSIDE J.Y.KO, 5 OTHERS PLAYERS OF 🇰🇷 HERITAGE HAVE BEEN RANKED AS THE BEST PLAYER IN 🌎 SINCE 2006 &
    47 OTHERS HAVE BECOME
    LPGA TOUR WINNERS.
    #THANKUSERIPAK🇰🇷🐐

  10. 평소에 후배들에게 얼마나 잘했는지 티가 난다
아무리 이른게 대단한 레전드라도 평소 행실과 태도가 나쁘면 저렇게 진심으로 애기못하지

  11. What an inspiration! Se Ri inspired a generation of Korean women golfers. More of this please LPGA.
