They all made choices and there are consequences for their actions. How the golf landscape evolves we all wait with anticipation.
There does need to a commercial reality brough back to the professional mens game – prize fund, sponsorships etc. need to aligned to revenue, and currently this is not happening and is not sustainable. People who think PIF (or any other investor) are simply going to throw money at the game with no commercial reality are about to get a rude awakening.
Make no mistake every journalist in that room mostly European now know what these guys new all along and the PGAT was systematically dismantling the European Tour buying it up and asset stripping it . The Ryder Cup rights bring the prize. The story is out now.
Ryder cup is meaningless without the best players competing against each other.
A win by the Americans will always be tempered by the fact that Euro didn’t put their best team in.

The powers that be in golf can't out of one side of their mouths promote this grand "inclusion" campaign we see in all the advertisements. And out of the other side of their mouth band people from tournaments. Seems a bit hypothetical doesn't it.
