  1. I think the safety duo thing for Cincy is overrated. Bates hasnt played at an elite level in a couple years and Bell is good not great. Dax, Scott, and Battle should be more than adequate. Im more worried about our right tackle situation.

  2. Re: Sam and his opinion that Desmond Ridder was worse than Mariota.

How about you ask a Falcons fan who actually watched the games if they share that belief? I don't know a single person who would say so, particularly from the Bengals game onward.
Alternatively, you could ask Drake London. He saw his production improve significantly once Ridder took over.

A nonsense take from Sam, but to be expected given his negative bias against Ridder in articles.

  3. with goff it wasnt mcvay or gurley or that offensive line, its not ben johnson or the lions oline. goff sold his soul to the devil, thats also how he got his hot model girlfriend. i think my reason for his great stats for half his career is just as valid as theirs. they couldnt be a bit more original and say the defense, its the lazy "its still the lions and goff at qb".

  4. Surely one of the biggest concerns for eagles is changing both coordinators? How they will perform is an unknown at the moment.

  5. I love how Steve Palazzolo approaches these reasons for optimism / concern episodes!

  6. Saying “what if their star QB gets hurt?” as a reason for concern is really dumb, and defeats the point of this episode. You could do that to literally any team. Its not a cause for concern or a weak position group its just a worst possible scenario.

  7. people are already crowning Caleb WIlliams QB1 next year, & he is a great player, but everyone needs to stop ignoring that he is in the same exact boat as Bryce & Kyler. Caleb Williams is 5'10 at most & might break 195lbs if they weigh him on Thanksgiving.

  8. The Jets were 8-3 with Farve before he got injured. Hardly “looking like crap”. A qb getting injured is worst case for all teams, and not a reason for concern.

  9. So hard on the bills for small issues like von being hurt and the oline when the bengals and chiefs have just as many if not worse issues.

  10. Way too many takes on just the QB. Not every team has an elite QB. There are a lot more concerns on defense and other positions on many of these teams.

  11. The “curse” on the Chargers is the owner. Spanos has always been frugal when it comes to bringing in a proven head coach. Marty Schottenheimer went 14-2 and couldn’t get that group to the Super Bowl, so he was fired. Then they hired Norv Turner who only made the playoffs once, and then wound up hiring 3 no-name coaches with no head coaching experience presumably to save money..
Spanos was also known as the owner that wouldn’t sign free agents.
Finally, after 50 years in San Diego, he decided to move to LA, leaving behind a very loyal fan base.
There are still people here in SD who are salty about it, and even though time has passed since then, the “Spanos Curse” remains with the team.
I’m still a big Chargers fan, but I get the feeling that there will always be a curse.. unless Spanos sells the team. How else can you explain some of the things that happen? For the last 10 years, the Chargers are pre-season favorites to challenge the Chiefs and become a perennial playoff team, and something always happens to short circuit their chances. Usually it’s injuries, bad luck, poor coaching, or missing a crucial field goal..
It’s been so bad, that there has been a running joke where the Chargers are going to “Charger”, and when other good teams have something happen that seems like bad luck, they are said to have “Chargered”.
You know it’s bad when the name of your team is used as a verb, when talking about how they screwed up or had bad luck.
    Being a Chargers fan isn’t easy…

  12. Detroit reason for concern.
O-line health determins how Goff will play.
If goff is under preasure hes basically davis mills. If hes unpressured hes a top 5 qb.
Ragnow (c) already has a toe ibjury that wont heal,
Decker (LT) has missed time from injury,
Hal V. Has lost time… Much time… From injury.

So the offence needs a healthy O-line. Thats the concern.

  13. This episode was pointless..
    Q: What's said teams concern??
    A: Quarterback.. wow deep analysis

Unless you have a top 5 qb. Nothing else matters according to these guys. I didn't realize football was so simple.
They look at every team from the same angle and that's makes their view points so shallow.

  14. Bryce Young will probably fall victim to the Flutie syndrome. He will be good outside the pocket, but inside itll be a lot of deflected balls and missed reads.

  15. It always amazes me every couple years NFL teams just get fascinated by a new quality in quarterbacks. 10 years ago i remember people making a huge deal about how small Johnny Manziels hands were now no one gives a shit about handsize. And now teams are just fascinated with anything that remotely resembles Josh Allen.

  16. Russle Wilson has to be able to move around he can't be a pocket passer he will do good this year because ge is going to move around not forced to stay in the Pocket passer

  17. Mac Jones is a reason for concern but ge is ok could possibly be great if he improves.

  18. If Josh Allen is such a great qb why does he have to run all of the time?

  19. Bills can't be just a one trick pony they need more offensive weapons.

  20. Bills need more than a two trick pony Josh Allen running and wr Diggs.
