The story of both mens and womens tests are the amount of dropped catches. Bravo young Alice Capsey and the England bats for producing despite a very nervy ending.

Amy Jones needs to be keeping for the men's team. Lol!
This comment isn't a dig at the quality of cricket at all. as I enjoyed this game a lot, Moreso the commentary.
Both teams put down absolute dolly catches in this game and you could tell from their reactions that they expected better from themselves, and the commentators would say things like "it was a great effort" or "good fielding, but not quite a catch" and when you compare it to the comments that are being made in the men's ashes series, it couldn't be further from the harsh comments that they're facing. It seems like a double standard tbh. I feel as though they could command more respect by being truthful and saying "they'll be disappointed with that drop" rather than molly coddling someone that doesn't need it and expects more of themselves too.
Again, this is not a dig at either sets of players. Men, Women, England or Australia. I just think that the trend has been to be very harsh on certain players and less so on others.
Wtf i just watched
