  1. I am considering having both the hybrid and 3 utility iron in my bag for different conditions. We get a lot of wind where I play and the utility iron would be beneficial on those days. Ric

  2. 22° Hybrid for me. ⛳️☄️🏌️‍♂️ I can use it from every lie on the course from 180-198 yards.

  3. I don’t like hybrids so I have a utility iron and a 7 wood and swap them in and out of the bag depending on where I’m playing and the conditions.

  4. I've been running a hybrid for along time but it's a struggle on windy days. Been really thinking of getting a driving iron the last few years but just never pulled the trigger. This has helped get me seriously thinking of testing one 👍

  5. I have both. a 7 wood and a hybrid, both with the same loft in my bag. With the 7 wood going that bit further in my case, they have become my favourite and reliable clubs.

  6. Chris, I was a hybrid user but the 7-wood is much more consistent and easier to hit in nearly all situations. I feel more confident with it, can play it back in my stance and hit it lower but it nearly always goes straight. The only "fault" of the 21 degree wood is that it goes a bit too far. I hit the hybrid 225 which is the distance I need it to go albeit less consistently. The 7-wood goes 234. As the weather gets warmer I may increase the loft to 22 degrees to shorten the distance a bit, but it feels glorious and flies wonderfully. I picked the G430 and couldn't be happier.

  7. I would never have a driving iron in my bag, either my 7wd or 21 deg hybrid, prefer the hybrid on windy days as I can hit it lower.

  8. I always prefer the look and higher launch/higher spin of the fairway woods.

Probably why I am 5W, 7W, 11W and then to my 6 iron!
