Last week the Under Center crew gave you their early predictions for the defensive depth chart. This week the guys flip sides and break down the offense. Kenneth Davis, Josh Schrock, and Alex Shapiro break down the position battles, who will come out on top, and examine key depth pieces. What is the wide receiver order after DJ Moore? Will Khalil Herbert, D’Onta Foreman, or Roschon Johnson get the bulk of the carries? Is P.J. Walker a serviceable backup if Justin Fields gets hurt? All that and more on this episode of the Under Center Bears Podcast.

Roschon Johnson will start halfway through the year! I'm satisfied with this line. Maybe a right guard away from having a solid line.
But did they give Larry Borom an off-season list to get better with? His play last season is NOT swing-tackle worthy …we need him or someone else to upgrade big time
The QB exemption has to be on the 53 man roster. You said he doesn't have to be on the active roster, BUT he does have to be on the 53. There are some exceptions, via call up on game day from the practice squad
My Bears 53 man roster:
25 Offense/25 Defense/3 ST
QB(2): Justin Fields, PJ Walker
RB(4): Khalil Herbert, D'onta Foreman, Roschon Johnson, Travis Homer
WR(7): DJ Moore, Darnell Mooney, Chase Claypool, Tyler Scott, Dante Pettis, Velus Jones Jr, (supplimental draft July 11)
TE(3): Cole Kmet, Robert Tonyan, Jake Tonges
OT(4): Braxton Jones, Darnell Wright, Larry Borom, (waiver/FA signing)
IOL(5): Nate Davis, Lucas Patrick, Doug Kramer, Tevin Jenkins, Ja'Tyre Carter
LB's (6): Tremaine Edmunds, TJ Edwards, Jack Sanborn, Dylan Cole, Noah Sewell, Sterling Weatherford
DE's (5): DeMarcus Walker, Trevis Gipson, Dominique Robinson, Terrell Lewis, (waiver/FA signing)
DT (4): Justin Jones, Andrew Billings, Gervon Dexter, Zacch Pickens
CB (6): Jaylon Johnson, Kyler Gordon, Tyrique Stevenson, Kindle Vildor, Josh Blackwell, Michael Ojemudia
S (4): Eddie Jackson, Jaquan Brisker, Elijah Hicks, DeAndre Houston Carson
LS: Patrick Scales
P: Trenton Gill
K: Andre Szmyt
16 man practice squad:
DT – Travis Bell
S – Kendall Williamson
OL- Deiter Eislen
IOL – Gabriel Houy
IOL – Lorenz Metz
OT – Kellen Diesch
QB – Tyson Bagent
WR – Thyrick Pitts
CB – Terrell Smith
WR – Aron Cruickshank
DE – D'Anthony Jones
PT – Ryan Anderson
S – AJ Thomas
LB – Kuony Deng

TE – Chase Allen
International Exception:

Nate davis is starting at RG not lucas patrick
Does Lucas Patrick have the upper hand in the guard competition? I'm thinking about the games he was rotating in with Tev. 😬
Sooo much better than last year
Schrock talks like he has an Andy Reid resume
how do these clowns get a show? everyone discusses the depth of the OL in having players with experience…. Maybe listen to REAL analysis from pros and then speak.
Let’s go beaarssss ! I’m excited this upcoming season!! I hope we win game 1..
To me on O-Line for "nastiness" Scale:
Tevin – #1
Darnell – #2
Braxton/Davis – #3
(All those got the potential to change just based on gel and enthusiasm/confidence)
Bear 🐻 Down
Great work as always guys. I appreciate you all. (from a Bears fan in New York City.)
Braxton is going to be great this year imo.
With Tevin on his right side, their gonna lock down the left side! 😊
Hopefully Wright adjusts to NFL he's a mean and nasty tackle, with Nate Davis on his left they will hold down the right side. And Whitehair is a huge upgrade from Musti!!
Pray everyone stays healthy!!😊
I heard Bagent has a cannon up his sleeve. I haven't seen any tape on him personally.
You said it, Herbert, Foreman, Rojo.
6 yds per carry for Herbert.
He out ran Monty
Thanks for the great show!! Happy 4th !!
PJ WALKER NOT LOOKIN GOOD KINDA SUCKS
How do you cover the bears and don’t know how to pronounce the name of players
What a great fucking interview!
