Without a doubt the most overlooked and easiest way to improve is to get better at the game of golf itself.

Yes – I love equipment, Yes – I love to learn about the golf swing BUT in order to improve we all need to get better at preparing for our round, getting the most from our equipment and personal performance that given day.

PGA Tour Players have a strict routine to get them into the flow that is required to achieve success, defined as the lowest score possible to them! This weeks #tourtrucktuesday upload is an absolute peach and lets you in on what an appropriate, confidence inducing, efficient warm up should look like.

Learn everything from iron play targets, shot shaping and setting the cadence for the day. As the title guarantees, “IF” you do this correctly you will 100% lower your scores and gain consistency on the golf course.

  1. Big shout out to trottie golf for posting this helpful content thank you for posting helpful and great content

  2. Your comment about how tiger was warming up is exactly how I start my warm up, little stretching and then no glove go into small chips single handed and then with both just feeling the ground and getting movement going

  3. Trottie, brother, will you please do a video showing your yardages for each club in your bag. I'm sure there's many of us lads out there that would greatly appreciate it. Nothing but respect for you, your knowledge of the game, and your passion for people's personal progress. Thank you, sir.

  4. As I've gotten older, that warm up is becoming more and more important. More swings to get loose and feel the club. Love this video seeing your process.

  5. People shouldn’t forget what a great teacher you are as well as a great fitter Chris…. So rare to be able to combine the two skills at this level 🐐🏌️🛠️

  6. I play golf almost every day and play tournaments weekly. The first thing I do when I get to the course is hit some chips. Some days my eyes and hands just don't line up and it takes a little bit to get them connected. But I know if I hit enough chips I'll feel "warmed up" and ready to go to the range. Everyone is different but finding your own routine that makes you ready for the course will pay dividends.

  7. Just got back from final open qualifying at west lancs..great the way they controlled their ball flight in the wind with simple knock down shots (almost finishing like tommy fleetwood style).. would make a great pre-open video

  8. Trottie, how do I make best use of Trackman? I want to book a session at my golf club but not sure what I can do to get the most out of it.

  9. For the 3 wood you say 'ball back' but it's just inside your left heel! Is that where you recommend most people to put the ball for 3w?

  10. Trottie , thank you very much. That’s the routine a player has to go through. But on top you give lots of valuable advice. Great video. Keep cracking. AL 🇩🇪

  11. Your audio and visual production is great. So many golf content channels don’t do well with this.

  12. Did this, didn’t improve. I’ll take a free fitting with custom clubs due to failing with your guarantee.

  13. Absolutely love your content. The combination of someone who can play the game, explain things clearly and have the expertise you have in club fitting is totally unique.

  14. Do you have an opinion on swing weights? I'm 6'5" and play D5. However, I feel like I'm having to work just to get the club fully set. Would D4 be any different?

  15. Got to love the way you kept the trackman turned off. You went by rhythm, feel, & flow. You weren't afraid to move and paid attention to turf interaction. In my opinion, this is how you swing.
You could feel 2* open for a fade and 2* closed for a draw. You didn't need to create an entirely different swing to change ball shapes.
