I won’t ever fill swing a wedge… first club I fully swing is a pw
Review the new snell balls vs pro v1
I am playing the Mizuno T 22s. 48, 52-9 S, 56 -10 D and I have a 60-10 C if a course needs it.
How can you pick a wedge grind or fit someone into a wedge grind when 95% of recreational golfers don't know what their next wedge lie is going to look like? So you pick a wedge grind based on your home course's usual conditions, but what if you play elsewhere or the weather changes those conditions and now your grind doesn't fit the course you're on? Tour pros have the luxury to change wedges weekly, heck even daily, if the course they're playing calls for something different than what they typically carry. I like a Vokey and even the Callaway wedges a lot, but I stick with the dual bounce soles that I first used with SCOR, then Cleveland RTX wedges, and now Edison. Really interested in the Edison 2.0 but was waiting on your review of them. I found out about the originals from your first video review, are you getting the 2.0 in?
Uh oh… old intro again
If you didn’t already know the content of this video, your wedge grind isn’t your problem. 😂
K grind – have you guys actually tried it properly? I’m a 3 handicap where short game is the stronger part of my game & have a 58 degree k grind – trust me it’s great in a whole range of situations if you commit to it
…so what you're saying is that Ian loves the D?😏😝
That was an absolutely fantastic review of Vokey wedge grinds. Thank you so much!!!
This is an old video…confused 🤔
Great video. What about the T grind?
Nice but what about the regular played who screws up a few shots,,,,no one has the room in the bag or the time to figure which wedge to carry,,,,normal Guys don’t have all those wedges to choose from in their garage
T-grind is my friend. The hard ground and cement bunkers here in AZ almost requires one.
Callaway jaws raw are the goat
These guys are world class. Great explanation.
I love you guys
Old video, eh?
Too many ads
The K grind is for Tom Kite.
Does the V grind fit between the M and the D?
Great insight. I have the Kirkland wedges as only been playing a year. Hit a great full shot on them, but open flat face an can thin a ball too easily even with a good swing. They have a wide sole and big bounce. I’m at the stage now where I need a proper wedge fitting
K grind was named after Tom Kite. One of the best wedge players in history.
Ahh, nice to time travel back to RB being on the channel
Magic or tragic…
Excellent explanation of the Vokey grinds. Masteclass. 🙌🙌👍💪😅
Why the repost?
Good info today; as it was when this video was originally published…it my memory serves me right. Wedge selection VERY, VERY, VERY important. Many golfer lack the correct setup and thus rob themselves of having the right tool given those shots from 115 yards and in. Understanding which wedge to use, in relation to the turf and lie of the ball, will result in successful shot to the hole.
Could you do a video on Full Swing vs trackman vs gcQuad?
Old video?
I always think of the L as being for finessing lefty lob shots (Phil the thrill), where K is the alternative to it and is next to L in the alphabet to show they should be considered together. BTW, this was such a brilliant video, Titleist should be paying you for this content ! The resolution options were quite low (720p) on the video, don't know if that is me or what was uploaded.
ARE BEEEEEEE
by way of my fitting, 2-degrees flat in my irons. Stay 2-degrees flat in my wedges (Generally that is)?
K stands for Kite as in Tom Kite… At least that is what I've heard
I think this an upload issue. Early today should you be playing a 9 wood was up then replaced by this old video?
K grind for winter, T grind for summer.
"..the D and I are great friends.." lollll Good one Ian!
