This clip is complete nonsense. He's saying that players, eg John Rahm, who are contracted to play on the PGA Tour will "forgive" the Commissioner for making a business decision – but only if they get a truckload of money. And people are calling Monahan a hypocrite for signing onto the big money deal!

Professional golf just sold out for money. How much is enough. How many houses do you need, how many cars do you need. How many private jets do you need. Shame on you. For selling out. Bobby Jones would never have taken the blood money.
Jay Monahan's rhetoric was all about history, legacy, morality, and principles but his actions were all about money. Can you say, "hypocrite?" Thought you could. Jay was a whore preaching celibacy.
