kyle had it all going until this
Kyle Busch crash at Daytona in 2015
Dam hope Ryan is ok.
The hit was certainly harder than it looked. It showcases the need for S.A.F.E.R. barriers even in areas where direct contact with an inner wall is believed to be unlikely.
It’s unacceptable that Nascar had any tracks without safer barriers everywhere in 2023. Come on…
Guess which tracks getting a new safer barrier next year lmao
Blaney didnt seem entirely there in his interviews. May wanna sit him out a few weeks.
Go Bubbles. Ha Ha.
hope he's ok
that area needs a tire wall, i don't think a safer barrier would be enough there
Shoulda held his brakes.
The end of them walls right there look deadly too
Dead stop. What a hit.
Rule number 2 of stock car racing: if there's a wall without a SAFER barrier, a NASCAR driver will find it!
Glad he's ok. Can't believe there's no Safety barriers there. No excuse for that.
0:36 Those changes he's talking about haven't happend yet they won't have those clips ready until Atlanta later in july
‘I cAnT bElIeVe ThErE iSnT sAfEr BarRieRs ThErE!’ Yall some stoggaF
im sure that rang ryans bell quite hard.i wouldnt be surprised if he is having concussion symptoms in a day or so.
Man up
Watching this live, my heart sank a little when he was slow to get out after the wreck. This was an awful hit. Hope he can rebound next race.
They’d rather have sponsor logos on the wall than something that could prevent injury or death….
Glad Blaney is ok. No way any track should not have safer barriers at any possible impact zone in 2023. Funny tho…when the 24 runs over the 6 no mention, I find that odd. That's what started it on the restart. In recent memory it's been called aggressive, wrecking ball etc. Mr. Penske didn't hold a press conference. Congrats to Ross Chastain and Trackhouse for a great win, hopefully many more!!
Never thought I would see one of these next gen cars hit a solid concrete wall. Just shows they will find anywhere on a track to crash.
i cant understand why there was NO Safer Barrier..thats Rediculas!!!…Typicial Trashcar
He wasn’t going fast but the momentum was too much
During the race the announcers ignored the fact that there was no SAFER barrier, and as soon as it was pointed out by Blaney that there was no SAFER barrier at the impact location the announcers immediately went into NASCAR protection gaslighting about all the safety features in the car, which wasn't the issue at all. It is 2023 and NASCAR has scheduled races at tracks without full safety measures on the walls in place. There is no excuse for that.
I also see this is a problem with racket pinion and sequential transmission too. Seems like when you spin out, the car lurches one way or the other like the Gen 4 car did. The release of the brakes is dramatic, maybe because the brakes are better and the fact the transmission is no longer standard.
Yikes
Where do they get off calling this a Superspeedway?? Its not even 1.5 miles!
