  1. Kind if the same thing with distance control in your putting. Same tempo, but longer the swing in same time span the faster the putter head moves at the bottom. In putting it works like a pendulum.

In full swings you have limited amount of range, if you move faster thru the same distance, the club head will be moving faster at the bottom and thru the ball.

Trouble usually is that people lack the physical strength to counter the greater momentum a faster speed back swing and down swing produce and they create power leaks to their execution.

Timing becomes bigger thing in countering the forces created by the faster back dwing, cause usually the faster a back swing the more prone the arms are to collapse at the top and lose the width of hand path due to late timing in countering the backward movementof the arms and club.

  2. This applies to Drew and most of the long drive guys. However, it does not apply to Cameron Young and others who pause or stop at the top and it probably will not help the average golfer to keep the ball on the fairway.

  3. Golf is so subjective. Folks work with what you have, this method of swinging a golf club doesn’t work for everyone…🤦🏻‍♂️. Tendencies of throwing the club, start the swing from the top, early extension… etc.

  4. Buuuuut. You have to make sure you’re fully hinged and turned and without too much grip pressure. Get to your check points, swing smooth until you get your angles correct, correct impact position and then mess around with Nick Price tempo/quickness. Or look at Hideos swing for an alternative path. Quick back seing will never work for me bc I’ve always been a late wrist setter. Sooo, I believe his science but the quick backswing isn’t for everybody. 50 yrs old, 3 handicap, 265 driver carry. Slow as shxt backswing😊
