  1. Could probably improve your swing a ton just by doing a smaller back-swing. Seems like once you get past 3/4 rotation in your backswing you're going past your limit in flexibility and are having to stand more upright and bend your arms a lot to do a longer back-swing… I'd recommend focusing on your backswing and making sure you aren't pushing it past your limits. And maybe do some stretches/exercises daily to improve flexibility in your back. You might not even lose any distance by shortening the backswing – it should give you a stronger lever.

A lot of your shorter shots, your swing doesn't look half bad. Seems to just be the big shots that you're really trying to cream the ball and over-rotating on your backswing.

  2. Brother your short game is awesome, just get lessons for your swing & you’ll be scratch in no time

  3. I wish you creators would stop putting up endscreen video suggestions. On this video it masks your scorecard.

  4. My game is very similar to Adams in the fact that I am a great wedge and short game player but I am also a pretty decent iron player too. However I struggle off the tee with driver with a huge left miss (I’m lefty and it’s a massive block slice) that can cause me to add up strokes very quickly. But the thing is I can hit my 3 wood 240-260 off the tee and have very little curvature on it but for some reason can’t bring myself to just leave the driver in the bag 🤣 so my question is should I just leave the driver in the bag until it gets better?

  5. I still can’t stop marveling at how far back you take the club. Luv the content

  6. Great video love to see it! I started playing last season got myself to a 16-17 handicap in a couple months so I know how much you had to grind to be able to see some results. Now that the season is ab to be starting I’ve been able to get out early and I’m getting to play some challenging courses compared to my first year of playing and let me tell you it’s about a 10 stroke difference the first couple times lol but for getting back into it at the start of the season and only playing for almost a year I’m really starting to see my game develop and starting to shoot some good scores. I would love to get to play a round with you maybe will run in to each other! Where do you usually play?

  7. I can’t imagine as a fellow single digit handicap, shooting 106… I guess if the course was tough enough under the rate conditions, maybe but you’re basically averaging double bogey golf, appreciate the humility in posting this it definitely shows that it’s possible, even for a pretty decent golfer

  8. I’ve never adjusted my scores based off my handicap. I’ve never actually had an official handicap. I’ve got myself figured at about a 18. My first round of the year was a 90 which is right on the money. Not sure what it would be if it were adjusted for handicap

  9. play stableford there is no point wasting time if the hole no longer has any scoring points available

  10. My friend works at a troon golf course at we play there for about 25$ all the time. Its always a fantastic experience.

Also i can relate to shooting the worst score of your life followed by my best.

I am backwards, i had my PB of 85 saturday and every time i've had a PB, the next time i play i'll shoot well into the 100s; and yesterday without skipping a beat a shot a 51 playing 9 holes.

Oh well, 2 steps forward, 1 step back.

  11. Love this channel. Glad to see you playing well and with your parents to witness such a great round. Your dad is clearly proud.
Can I ask, what distances do you hit each club?

  12. How did you recover mentally after shooting 106? I just shot 100 which is the worst round I’ve had after taking up golf again three years ago (I’m 11 hcp). How did you come back?

  13. So you improved but it's not a legit comparison. Playing 9 holes twice on an easy par 70 course that you know well is very very different to your first round. Obvious improvement in striking though, Well done.

  14. this was like me yesterday. Driver is my biggest weapon, and yesterday I was either blocking it or hooking it. Probably didn’t hit one fairway

  15. Just my opinion but if you have room for driver on the third tee at Quintero you're probably playing the wrong tees

  16. That second course would be fun to play. With those yardages, I imagine I could shoot at 62 if the putter was cooperating.

  17. How do you reset yourself before your next shot? Any tips? When my rounds go like this, I just feel myself getting more and more frustrated, making stupider and stupider decisions with each progressive shot. I feel myself getting that feeling in my chest just watching the 106 because I’ve done this myself SO many times lol

  18. I feel your pain. Last week I shot a 48 on the first 9, and I parred the back 9. I wanted to throw my clubs in the trash! Lol
