On the 8th you moved your ball as you had a sprinkler head to put over Im sure unless there is a local rule you have to play the ball as it lays I might be wrong but just asking ?
Lovely course. I expect the heat played some part in the round though. Not sure about the hat though Mr F.
Fairly sure Fitzys club was Tinsley as a fellow sheffield lad. That being said it’s not worth a knock and Hallamshire certainly is.
So that’s where the Bob Does Sports logo came from

I had distance control issues with the Callaway ball as well , rather use a pro v that is consistent but shorter
And you caught it on a relatively benign day, not much wind and plenty of run on the fairways, it can be a real beast at times. Incidentally the course that Danny Willett played much of his junior golf on is also on the top of one of the Sheffield Hills, Birley Wood GC while not being in the same class as Hallamshire can still be a huge test when the wind blows, especially with the smaller greens. -Mark
Always a good watch when you do these in the red vlogs, would also be really good if you played them on viewers courses with the viewer
Sun protection is important. Even a well tanned guy like you needs protection. Thumbs up! 😉

Matt from the start with pitching to the end you did very well
forget the hat im seriously concerned about sunscreen coverage on the pure white forearms and legs ….blinding 🙂 ….love ur work even when in the black ur still a helluva player …every now and then (like most humans) i think you might over complicate the game …. u have the skill and mental game to constantly be cracking the red but the self doubt and thinking too much might kill you without you even noticing until the round is done if at all …..golf is life + life is golf …eg life is hard when you think its going to be a breeze and vice versa …just because universe 🙂 ….cheers and please come down to australia …look up dent island and brookwater …..you would LOVE it ….let me know when coming ill take some time off to play
The hat is fine it’s just the shirt that’s the problem!!!! Great course and always good to have to plot your way round.
also a little request of your cameraperson …..if you point out something specific can they please pan to show the rest of us what you are on about ….some of us live vicariously through your golfing life so id like the full experience 🙂

What a great advert for another stunning Yorkshire course, Matt. Total credit for your round, carrying on a hot day up and down those hills couldn't have ben easy!
This course looks tough. I would've struggled way more as a high handicapper. Those greens man.
My guess is heat making ground harder caused most of range diff, the changed ball and wind had less impact. Great round, I find watching these help my course management skills. I also now talk out loud to myself to help visualize the shots I want to hit. Awesome entertainment!!!
