  1. Congrats Adam on your wedding, great final word daily as always, and thanks for giving the Just Stop Oil protest some context and a fair hearing – much better than most sports media would do. Love your work

  2. It’s day one early wickets on day 2 get Aussie out before lunch England could get a first innings lead . If they don’t then it could be a hard test to win

  3. The Poms have spent a lot of time and energy hyping themselves up when realistically only one of them would even come close to making the Australian team.

  4. In these type of conditions Australia has been bundled out easily in the past. The ball was doing plenty and the swing on offer was at times viscous. Really well played by Australia – shame about those late wickets, both were avoidable. Anything over 250 was good whilst these conditions last, which they will till the weekend. I'm tipping Australia will be back out there batting in their second innings in the final session today.

  5. It's a shame about English test cricket. The truth is they bailed out after their finest hour in 2005 in favour of the more lucrative one day see ball hit ball technique. They have been searching for a way to legitimize their method for test cricket. Along comes a Kiwi on a healthy contract and gives them the name bazzball and invents a hitherto unknown culture surrounding it. This then allowed for a motley bunch of aspiring golfers to practice in the hopes of gaining selection as entertainers for Cirque de Soleil.
    So England!!! Are you entertained?
It is entertaining but looking much more like blitzball burying bazzball and still four tests to go.

  6. Poor England are crying already. Bazball is just some overhyped nonsense. “Revolutionised the game of test cricket innit”

  7. Why was Rehan Ahmed on as a sub fielder? I watched him during the hundred and he's pretty much the worst pro fielder I've ever seen. Come on England play smart
