  1. In 5-10 years, there will be an MLB/college graphic that shows who LSU had to face in the CWS because the majority of them will be pro pitchers. I’m not going to compare natty’s because that’s an exercise in futility, but this team was something special. So glad to be along for the ride, and Coach Johnson has that Saban mentality and drive to never settle. Extremely proud ‘07 alum. LSU is the biggest brand and most forward thinking University in college athletics right now. More ships than the U.S. Navy 🫡

  2. I noticed that one speaker mentioned the legacy of Skip Bertman and Paul Manieri, then Jay Johnson.
She didn't mention Smoke Laval, the guy who followed the Skipper.
    Smoke Laval… WHO?!

  3. Pittsburgh Pirates fan tuning in. I never watched you guys before, but I've been intrigued since we have #1 in the MLB draft so Skenes / Crews. These college games have been some of the most enjoyable baseball I've seen in a while (as a Pirates fan you already no that's true LOL). But ay, even though I'm a Pitt Panther alumni… I'm going to be rooting for my fellow cat family for years to come. GEAUX TIGERS!!!!

PS – That pitching duel between Skenes and what's his name from Wake Forest, the Lincecum looking fellow, wow. That was honestly one of the best games I've ever seen despite it not being enjoyable from a scoring point of view. WELL PLAYED.
